they got rid of misty for t and a? weird
The eye candy thing is definitely weird considering its a show for kids and all the female protags haven't been any older than 13 iirc.
You bring my boy Brock back, you assholes! Jokes of his lechery were half the fun of original series! Who would he even be racist to?
i love how so far the conversation for this video is based off a reference to a completely different video. :v:
"Some trainer sprites were changed in the international versions of Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald" Then proceeds to show 4 changed sprites, but only goes into detail about one of them :why:
The eye candy thing is definitely weird considering its a show for kids and all the female protags haven't been any older than 13 iirc.
I believe, at least from what I heard from another Pokemon analysis video, it's because in Japan after the age of 13 (or possibly as low as 10) children are considered to be more or less adults. Plus, it's an anime, when are their characters NOT "eye candy" (if that's your thing) regardless of age.
Who would he even be racist to?
Asians/Pacific Islanders for the squinting eyes, if I recall correctly.

Let's go over them [t]http://i.imgur.com/a92gloL.png[/t] top left- her arms were up above her chest, and were extended out. Maybe similar to the nidoqueen boob cupping complaint bottom left- they gave her pupils bottom right- made the hair on the back of his head spike up instead of being another downward tendril? I don't get it at all, may have been an attempt to add a bit more gender to the character???
That interaction with that old man is heartwarming.
The shows creators dont want to make Ash a pokemon master

Well after[sp]the infamous finale of the XY Series / season[/sp]and the entire premise of Sun & Moon, it sure seems this way. [editline]November 18th, 2016[/editline] There really should've just been a few "pass the torch" moments in the anime since Ash's journey had to have ended naturally at some point, but admit it, we all really think it's too late for it to completely jump status quo, and the creators vigilantly stand by this decision so they don't have to take such a huge risk in continually replacing the series' most memorable characters / interpretations of characters from the games.
