It was a cool effect, but it wasn't the most impressive thing I've seen before. At the beginning they were out of sync, and when they did the wave all they did was quickly mimic the person beside them.
I like how they're arranged from shortest to tallest.

I was on an armed drill team during my JROTC days in high school. We could do stuff like that, no problem. I mean, they even had a drumbeat.
