thank skifer for finding a Not-broken one
Buy me a Bugatti please.
The Veyron smoked the Nissan when it came to acceleration.

impractical car..
looks beautiful but totally impractical.
also... this video is silly the GT-R's aren't
even in the same car class as a veyron..
so there is no competition.
Veyrons are gay. If i ever get enough money for a supercar, I'll buy something a little more sensible.

Is it not the 2nd fastest Car?
Ergo, I want it.

...
umm you are comparing the fastest production car
ever made with 1000HP that costs over a million.
to a car that is worth about 60k that has 480HP.

I'm not comparing it to the car in the video, I'm comparing it to every car. :/
I don't care, I still fucking love the GT-R.
Any car that costs 70k for a tire change isn't a car for me.
Actually, the Shelby Aero IS the fastest car in the world.
The GT-Rs were apparently heavily modified and running on different fuel. Or atleast thats what the description and comments said, I am not a car person. The Veyron also apparently braked four times
the veyron is ugly imo
Actually, the Shelby Aero IS the fastest car in the world.
Yeah but the amazing thing about the Veyron was/is that it manages to have those high performances without being a seat strapped onto an engine with some plastic around it and it's state of the art technology and quality. Which is what most people (and those that made the Aero) completely missed.
I really wish I had a nice car like that, I mean it's nice but not near that.
Sadness overwhelms me.
Veyrons are gay. If i ever get enough money for a supercar, I'll buy something a little more sensible.
The Veyron isn't meant for people that think "I can get only one supercar", it's meant for those that wake up in the morning and think "So, how many supercars shall I buy today?".
If I had the money I wouldn't even get a supercar at all, I'd get something you can use. Unless I was really rich, in which case I wouldn't give a shit about 1 million.
That looked like a really fishy start of the drag race at the start of the video.
Also, a Veryon worth roughly 1 million dollars, with vast amounts of technology and resources poured in to create a vehicle that can go '0–100 km/h (0–62.1 mph) in 2.5 seconds' [according to Wikipedia]...
..and a 1969 Corvette in the garage not 40 feet from me that can do the same in the 0-60. And it doesn't need 4 turbo chargers, or 16 cylinders. Just a naturally-aspirated 427 ci. Chevy motor.
Makes me giggle every time someone proclaims the Veyron as the best thing ever made. However, admittedly, that same Corvette can't do 255. I'm just sayin', is all.

Yeah um, a 1969 Corvette that can do 0-60mph in 2.5 seconds? Might wanna double check those figures.

With wrinkle-wall slicks on the rear, yes it can. I've watched it. :keke:
I hope they wreck because they are breaking the law!

Well done, you completely missed the point of the Veyron and looked only at the speed and acceleration.

I was just throwing in a comment. I never said the only point of a Veyron is acceleration.
Towards the end there was an Engineer building-detonation sound :v:

Pretty sure the stock 0-60 time for one of those is 6-7 seconds. Tyres won't make that much difference, unless it's been heavily modified for drag racing. In that case you're comparing a drag car against a road legal luxury car?
With wrinkle-wall slicks on the rear, yes it can. I've watched it. :keke:
Yeah dude even then. I mean there are cars that can accelerate faster than 2.5s (old ones too), but only with some serious modding like nitrous oxide and fatass turbos.
Why would I waste almost 3/4 of a million on a car that's famous for going fast? when am I ever going to get to 200 whatever on a road? If I wanted a car I'd buy and Audi R8, £80,000 and low fuel consumption, goes quick and looks slick.
Dayum.

AUDI r8 is a much more practical vehicle.
you get the supercar atmosphere with the
clean emissions :smug:
