Absolutely nuts how many there are, jesus christ. Skip one minute ahead if you don't want to watch the intro.
Ugh I'd be so paranoid about stepping on one if I went there, wouldn't be able to appreciate it over the stress

at the cost of sounding like a cold bastard, you wouldn't be making even remotely a dent in their population if you went out of your way to crush every single butterfly you saw. there's literally so many, it's their defense mechanism -- swarming through sheer numbers, because you just can't kill all of them.
enjoy the views, and don't feel guilty if you squash a few on accident.

Monarchs are endangered however
Exactly how much is an assload and how would you go about measuring it?
I like how they're all there to fuck.
Its like a huge butterfly orgy that we all think is pretty.
The amount of caterpillars to be found after this is probably disturbing

It's less about their numbers, it's more about killing them altogether. Like I literally trap and bring spiders and shit out of my house
I've seen one of these mass gatherings/migrations of butterflies when I was in middle school
They flowed across the road on my way home like a living river
Everyone had to drive through them and all the cars pretty much got painted orange with bug guts
Yes, go my minions, make love, AFTER THAT WE'LL CONQUER THE WORLD !

I went to a butterfly glass house once at a zoo and it was a magical experience
I went to a butterfly glass house once at a zoo and all those little shits kept flying around my head and one tried to get inside my mouth it was a fucking awful experience

something about this is ticking me off and I can't quite put it into words...
its like you're not made for this world

Well, there are some bugs that are cool and there is no need to kill them. But then there are flies and mosquitoes; I wish I could kill them with a shotgun and burn their remains with a flamethrower.
man, fuck spiders.
I like footage of large insect gatherings such as this. Anyone else see the Planet Earth II mega locust swarm? That shit was insane, and much more terrifying. These butterflies are way more tranquil.
Interesting how something so beautiful, in great numbers, looks like a rather dastardly locust swarm.
I mean, yeah, a few hundred of them look cool, but when you see thousands literally swarming in the air, I sort of get the flamethrower vibes.

Sounds like a challenge :v:

there's a little spider that lives in the window above my shower and sometimes he falls into the tub and can't get out so I go to great pains to get him back to the window without harming him
I feel your pain
