i will need to try this someday :v:
Does this count as stealing?
I fucking love Remi. He just gives no fucks, and that's what makes him great. Remi has turned screwing with people into an art form. [editline]24th May 2011[/editline] I need to try this sometime, it looks like it probably really would work.
Does this count as stealing?
They won't realize it until you're gone, and by then the person wanting the food you ran off with will be holding up the line, so they'll basically just make it again and forget about it, not much they can do immediately otherwise.
Most people order the same old shit at McDonalds too, so you would probably end up liking the food.
Genius!
My friend works at McDonals and he said that they now prevent that by telling the second window what car colour ordered what. But some restaurants could be lazier than his.
We use microphones here in Canada...
My friend works at McDonals and he said that they now prevent that by telling the second window what car colour ordered what.
I have seen absolutely zero fast food restaurants using the first window in at least five years.
First window is to pay, second is to pick up your food, microphone to order. Right?
I have seen absolutely zero fast food restaurants using the first window in at least five years.
This. Either they don't have enough people working or it's not busy enough for them to use both windows
First window is to pay, second is to pick up your food, microphone to order. Right?
The KFC I work at is first window is where you order and pay and the second window you pick up your order (no microphone).
I would try this, but I'm too scared of getting caught, and the thought of stealing someone else's food is terrible :smith:
I would try this, but I'm too scared of getting caught, and the thought of stealing someone else's food is terrible :smith:
It's not like they aren't going to get their food. They'll get it EVENTUALLY.
It's not like they aren't going to get their food. They'll get it EVENTUALLY.
You Sir, Are a wise man
McDonald's employee here. Honestly, you could do this with your friends as the second car, and they would get their food as well anyway due to their obligation to make the customer happy. They can't really do anything after the food is gone, so they just make it again. Honestly it's a smart idea.
You'll end up offsetting all of the orders, haha.
I saw a show once where a guy pulled a bag off the top of the pile in a trash can, found a receipt that said "no pickles" or "no onion", called the McDonald's with the number on the receipt, and said "hi, i ordered a (whatever) at (whatever time on receipt) and i asked for no (whatever) because I'm allergic to it, and you guys must've accidently put it on. I would've gotten a new one immediately but I had to get to a meeting, could i come in and get it now? i have the receipt with me". They'll pretty much always say yes because they'd rather avoid conflict and there isn't really reason to argue anything with a receipt.
If you do this, you are a tremendous dick. I worked at a McDonald's for a while, and whenever someone does this everything is thrown into disaray. Not only have you stolen food from us, but you have royally fucked the person behind you because ALL of their food needs to be remade, not to mention all the confusion it causes.

McDonalds should prepare for this sort of thing.
if you own a car, you are able to afford McDonalds
if you own a car, you are able to afford McDonalds
But sometimes you want a free snack too. :v:
if you own a car, you are able to afford McDonalds
Nothing hurts a free meal. Also i wonder what would happen if you tried this in the U.S. Either you getting lucky enough to get away. Or get a fine.
if you own a car, you are able to afford McDonalds
Its just for the lolz

Me and my friends always get free food out of the local restaurants. Tacobell/bueno/mayo/mcdonalds/sonic/kfc/pizza places. Just call em up and say they messed your order up or something, as for stealing from them, I don't really care. These companies have billions, and will not die from my actions.
Alternative for McDonald's that don't use the pay window. Go up to window, when the person holds out your food have a friend run past and grab it. Since a guy just stole your food they have to remake it. Two meals for the price of one.
the mcdicks i work at has cctv surveilance of our drive thru, and the headsets also work as walkie-talkies between drive thru windows. couldnt get away with it there
Maccas I used to work at in Australia used to report the people to the cops if they tried this, theres cameras viewing the drive-thru area 24/7. Did a maccas run at 2am one time, they gave us some free drinks because we went through the drive-thru on bikes making engine sounds which fooled the manager.
this is genius
