this doesn't really seem to add up. surely unless he's gifted with the world's greatest muscle mass genetics, there's no way he'd be able to get that ripped without an excellent diet and/or protein supplements (which it looks like he has in a bottle in one shot)
so how he is doing that as a homeless dude. must get a decent amount of money from begging to eat that well and afford supplements

5:09 is a shot of his supplements. He must beg for them or something.
Just cause he's homeless doesn't mean he's broke
Probably one of those "travelling warrior monk" guys instead of a dude who fell on hard times
I bet he could rather easily get a job if he wanted to.
Seems very able-bodied.
I'm curious, how would he look like if he didn't have any of the supplements, and just worked out?
he said his choice was between a small apartment and the streets and he chose the streets.

the thing about workout supplements is that that's exactly what they are, supplementary. if you dont have them, all you'll miss out on is the top-level stuff.
considering the fact that he's homeless, the most beneficial thing his supplements do is give him a readily available protein counter. he'd probably look similar nonetheless.
Muscular old men look rather strange in many cases, including this one. His face looks old and weak but his body looks 10-15 years younger.
skipped face day

the government in France gives homeless and jobless people a fair amount of money every month. if i recall it's around $600 a month, which when you don't have any bills to pay since you're living on the street that's plenty of money in a month to buy great foods to make up a proper diet

Honestly if you have a passion for wandering and really were dedicated to it, being homeless there doesn't seem like such a bad deal. I mean sure if you fell down on your luck and lost all your shit it'd suck, but in this guys case he chose to live on the streets and he's doing pretty well from the looks of it!

Probably not. The human body generally limits the amount of muscle mass you gain.
For the same reason that muscle mass degrades, you also generally don't get that ripped without seriously fucking with your body chemistry. It takes a shitload of calories to simply operate and move that much muscle mass. As you might imagine, there is a point in time where an increase in strength no longer allows you gain any further calories in nature. Instead it simply costs calories in maintaining it.
Humans are a very specialized form of hunter called a persistence hunter. It is why we have no fur and advanced sweat glands. It is also one of the reasons we generally don't put on a lot of muscle mass naturally, as it would have, historically, meant we would starve.
Humans get toned naturally, we do not generally become ripped.

"naturally", perhaps, without the forceful manner in which bodybuilders consume nutrients. the video didn't give us any insight into what his daily regimen was like, nor his meal portions.
you're definitely right in that humans do not get super lean and vascular without fucking with your body chemistry, but that logic assumes the diet and exercise level of the average person. additionally, most bodybuilding supplements are not much more than concentrated protein powders, absurd amounts of caffeine, and maybe some vitamins.
bodybuilders also don't need to consume supplements in order to achieve a lean, muscular body -- it's simply an easier aid. there's no magical formula that makes you suddenly buff the fuck up(unless your genetics are godlike, or you're on the juice -- even then you still need to work on it.)
all i'm saying is that a lack of supplements would probably not have impacted this man's physique very much, since it's likely he's been doing it for a long time. whey protein powder is not the only form of protein you can get -- it's just very convenient.

(everything you said about human physiology is true though)
his face doesnt fit his body
