I wonder if they will redesign the editor significantly for this
The current one would be pretty clumsy to use with a controller
KSP without mods. How horrible.

I haven't played KSP. Is this a good thing?

The rocket creation menu is extremely mouse reliant.

Well Fallout 4 will incorporate mods into the XBONE version so maybe KSP could do something similar.
What the fuck is the point?
The base game is pretty bare and boring, but at least it is an excellent framework for community modding which isn't even possible IIRC on consoles.

Fallout 4 on XBone won't be able to include more invasive mods, same with KSP on XBone if that even happens to begin with and most KSP mods make use of .dll files etc. I'm pretty sure that won't happen besides some basic part replacements.

KSP is pretty damn big now even without mods, it won't really be a problem.

I'm more curious about performance however.
In PC games it's ok to spawn so much shit that your game crashes, but I imagine that's not too popular for modern console titles.
What kind of limitations will be in place to keep this from happening? Will there be a hard part limit even when your VAB is fully upgraded?
Guess we'll see.

KSP without mods is still fun. And who knows, maybe there will be add-on packs of some things.

Games on consoles can crash just like PC games can. When an Xbox game crashes, it just freezes for a bit (up to 15 seconds) then kicks you back to the home screen like it was force closed. I'd imagine it'd happen like that, if anything.
can't wait for massive lag spikes and 30fps cap

XB1, not Xbox 360 mate

Yeah but I'm sure they'll have countermeasures, because they probably don't want the game crashing anyways.
Console games are supposed to be foolproof - and it's not very hard to make KSP crash. This makes me curious what solution(s) they'll come up with.
... they should have Danny2462 do the game testing :v:

There is no online multiplayer ;)
KSP mate, massive amounts of parts on one craft and took a while for them to get decent performance.
It's still sub-par, if they'd rebuilt the game from the ground up with better physics handling and core utilization, I'm sure we'd see 5 or 10 times faster physics.
Maybe they're doing some serious under the hood modifications for this port.
I see no problem with this

The game has fucking enormous memory issues on the PC. Hell, when 1.0.0 came out the heat display would cause a catastrophic memory leak that would crash the game within minutes, and it took 3 weeks to fix.

Good thing 'lag' is used to define more than just network latencies then ;)
