Jakarta bombings: Five terrorists and two civilians dead following suicide bombing, shooting attack

Five terrorists, including two suicide bombers, are dead after a bombing and shooting attack in Jakarta’s city centre, according to Indonesian police.

Two civilians, including a Dutch national, were killed during the attacks that involved gunfire, suicide vests and possible grenades.

"We believe there are no more attackers around Sarinah. We have taken control," Jakarta police spokesman Colonel Muhammad Iqbal said.

He said two of the attackers were killed by police but did not say how the others died.
