I never found the 1st one fun due to it being too low res and zoomed in, but Jazz 2 is gold standard goodness even today.
Jesus, I played the everloving shit out of this when I was nine.
This is one of my favorite games ever made. It's absolutely perfect for as far as I care.
And the music is just goddamn great.
I used to have a full boxed-copy of Jazz Jackrabbit 2: The Secret Files.

I just had a flashback where I saw that at a Kaufland once. Having played the shareware version all the fuckin' time, I thought to myself "Oh my, a copy of Jazz Jackrabbit 2! But, would my mom buy it for me? Nah, she would never do that." And it was pretty inexpensive too, otherwise it wouldn't have been displayed at the front of one of those stores-within-a-store with other cheap shit. So, I never asked my mom about it.
And now to find out it was rare...... breaks my fuckin' heart, man.
Me, a friend and his little brother would play this on multiplayer and make cool maps. I still remember the awesome music these games had

I took my jazz jackrabbit for granted. This might be the only rare game I own :v:
Jazz was pretty much an icon for the pc gaming in the early years but considering how epic is treating the franchise atm, Gordon took that trophy in 2004.
