First of all reading up on the definition of concentration camps they exist in much more lenient ways than how the germans did them, I honestly did not know, so not much to say there, just wrong. They basically exist as prisons as well. They rounded up Boer women and children (along with Blacks who lived on Boer land) and transported them to ~30 or so camps. In these camps they lived, and many died due to malnutrition and disease - in part because they were given smaller rations than soldiers. They weren't sent there to be killed outright, although the British government and Military of the time had no issues with them dying.

What she's talking about is more of a prison, which also does fall under concentration camp, but then they're only stripped of certain human rights and segregated, there is no enslavement or intention of having them work until they die.
