Of course it's fucking wrong, and i doubt it's just parents doing it.

This makes me think though, if it's so very easy for children to be tracked by their parents in this regard then how easy would it be for the governement to do such a thing if it pleased?

They could put a GPS transmitter on you, but that'd be hard to do without you knowing (unless it's on your car or something).
