I remember people taking apart their 360 pads, grinding down the plastic ring of the dpad and putting it back together. Apparently is made the dpad much better but I never tried for fear of fucking my controller, they're fucking expensive.

doesn't stop people from naming a color/finish combo to be specific, you see it with cars (and more recently, phones) a lot. 'Liquid' seems somewhat fitting for a high gloss plastic, granted it sounds like they're marketing a paint job for metal gears

the newer 360 controllers you see with the black/silver dpad have an adjustment where if you rotate the pad 90 degrees to the side, it'll drop down the rounded spacers and become a more effective 8-directional, pretty good.

A darker variant of dark chrome, like crude oil or ferrofluid, which in fairness Microsoft has been marketing their products using ferrofluid as a design choice, like in the Microsoft Surface reveal trailer.
I have and x360 slim.
However the ps4 is obviously better.
