sweet fuck that was exciting
Hahaha i absolutely love the entire "We have no idea what is going on but i think it means something good" and then shit breaks loose and they win the jackpot.
Also that fucking sequence for when you hit the jackpot, thats quite a show for something that perhaps happens on the scale of 1:100000
I hope they gave that dude at the end some, he looked... happy(?) for them.
so how much is that worth?
so how much is that worth?
Well it's japanese currency so I'd say approx. 2 packs of M&M's and a Diet Coke.
Holy shit whats up with that machine. Everytime I thought I had seen everything somethign weird came out from the side and boom, new stuff. Japan's arcades are weird

those aren't actual currency afaik. the arcade transfers them to actual yen at the booths like any other arcade with ticket or coin based winnings
[editline]15th November 2014[/editline]
it'd be basically nothing if they were 1 yen coins
those aren't actual currency afaik.
Ok fine only 1 pack of M&M's and a Diet Coke, then.

Jokes aside that was amazing. I wish gaijin arcades were this good.
i burned so much money in the arcades ):
And just like that, the economy was fixed
He says in the description it's not 1 yen per coin so it's at least 10 but possibly even 100.
It's most likely in the range of like $500 - $5000.
I really would like to know how much that was.

Oh shit, real cash.
Sometimes, I think that I can win and I have figured it out. And then I run out of coins.
I went in what I heard was the japanese dave and busters
It was an arcade with a bunch of claw games and some other machines. The other machines looked like games but they were all betting games. Literally everyone of them.
And I think the games gave out tokens but I didn't see a prize booth and my sister who speaks japanese wasn't there so I stood around the crane games for awhile trying to figure out what the fuck this place actually was
That entire video had me sweating it was so hype.
I honestly have no idea what the fuck is going on, but that's a lot of coins spitting out of that machine.

it's dedicated to him playing Japanese arcade machines and winning/losing shit.
If he won 5,000 yen, that's like 40 usd
That was the most elaborate fucking arcade machine of all time.

5286 in Yen is like $50 in USD.
Or it was. Now the Yen is weak so it's more like $40 these days.
That's assuming each of those coins is 1 Yen a piece.
Holy shit if all japanese gambling machine are like these then I am going to go broke playing them in no time.
Also I HIGHLY doupt those machine goes by 1 yen at a time.
From what I've heard, gambling for actual money in Japan is illegal. I don't know if there's some exchange rate for those or if you can just exchange them for prizes at the place.
I miss arcade machines.

It's the workaround to gambling, instead of
Bet cash> aquire more cash or lose all cash
you more-or-less
give cash to service>aquire funbux> bet funbux for more funbux> lose all funbux or return more funbux for cash or prizes.
So really it's just what they say it is. An arcade for adults, though instead of betting 20$ at a time and getting enough tickets, people bet hundreds at a time and more often than not get nothing.
If you've ever played a pre gen V Pokemon game it basically works like any of the game corners they have.
they won 5286 arcade tokens, not yen.

1-yen coins are aluminium, flimsy as shit
I've been hearing that the coins are worth about $200,000 in real money value since you can't exchange them directly from cash. You can buy gaming consoles with them and a shop that is conveniently by the arcade will buy them off you.

That's awesome. He has the same machine in the OP at 240fps when he won the jackpot.

Skip to 8:00 for the show. It's like in the movies when someone wins a lot of money at a casino and everyone goes wild and money, champagin, breasts, etc. are flying around everywhere in slow motion. But they're only coins this time.
i have no idea what the fuck is going on but it's exciting
