I had a lot of fun with Rogue Trooper. Pretty strange to see it being remade, but I suppose it'll be good if you haven't played the original release.
I didn't know this was being remade.
I know fuckall about the comics but the original game was pretty cool.

I use to read them as a kid. from the same guys Judge Dredd, 2000AD.
No idea if any of this was covered in the game but this was essentially the basic outline of the story.
Norts were the bad guys, essentially nazis / communists / confederates. Lacked quality equipment but had the numbers on their side.
Southers were the good guys, Nato / Allies, had all the nice looking kit but lacked the numbers.
Fighting on a planet i forgot the name of but it's not earth, anyway the planets atmosphere is absolute ruined and turned toxic to breath (except at sea) due to the war.
Rogue Trooper was 1 in a battalion of genetically engineered soldier that the Southers created to help win the war who could live and breath in the enviroment, long story short, their 1st mission ends up with all of them being killed except for rogue whom suspects they were betrayed and sent into a deliberate ambush, as such he goes 'rogue' to find out who did it and why, along the way he still helps the Southers and kills a fuck tonne of norts and becomes a kind of myth that just turns up every once in a while to fuck shit up, save a bunch of guys then dissapears again. Oh yeah and his dead buddies brains have been saved to a microchip, which are stored on some of his equipment and they talk to him / plan and in the case of the chip in the gun (called gunnar iirc) , shoot things like a sentry. That bit was a bit shite imo but hey it is what it is.
What made rogue trooper good, was the fact that the lines between good and bad were blurred as the Southers did alot of questionable shit as well. In many ways, Killzone is a rip off of Rogue Trooper.
Sorry i went off tangent there, nostalgia got the better of me. Anyway i never got a chance to play the game, maybe i will now.
