I'll tell you what, they always produce some incredibly high quality commercials for their ships.
thats fucking gross and anyone who buys it should feel bad
unless you have the money and know your backing the game and getting the perk in return. Also you're going to get the ship in the game and it won't be means by pay to win, more like war of tanks.
thats fucking gross and anyone who buys it should feel bad
I bought the game, merchandise and I'm currently wearing an Anvil Aerospace shirt, and I still think that spending more than 60-70 bucks on the game is crazy, let alone buying a ship for $150.
Ok so Drake Interplanetary is clearly racist. Why else would they make the Xi'An out to be the villain and the idiot???
just because you have the money doesn't mean you should
no, if you have the money do the fuck you want, it's not an ouya. Also that's a cutlass is a price point for a MMO with a subscription fee for a little over a year. (at release it will be guild wars to pay in with a game of tanks infrastructure for income)
also this gives the impression that it will both a. be an unbalanced piece of shit on release and b. take a huge grind to get any ships worth using
the plan is that the connie will be a month to get in the MMO side and that's way more then the cutlass. So eventually people will probably complain "you paid for so much in something you'd get so easily". Haters gonna hate
Cool. Can't wait to use it in the game in 2 years.
I bought a $50 ship package a while back. I feel if I buy a huge ship with real life money, I'll be wasting my time actually playing the game cause I'll have nothing to accomplish. I could probably buy a Constellation right now, but right now Elite: Dangerous is satisfying me quite nicely with only $75 out-of-pocket.
this game just keeps looking dumber and dumber
They still have that $15,000 Completionist Package...
lmao imagine trying to justify paying 120 bux for a digital videogame spaceship also yeah you're right, its not an ouya, because at least the ouya is available for purchase and use immediately
it's just like kickstarter tiered rewards, it doesn't mean the ship is actually worth that much
this game just keeps looking dumber and dumber
What exactly do you mean?
Ok so Drake Interplanetary is clearly racist. Why else would they make the Xi'An out to be the villain and the idiot???
It's a vanduul guy and not a Xi'An.
What exactly do you mean? It's a vanduul guy and not a Xi'An.
it just looks really lame, in a "we think we're really cool" kind of way
like I said before and before Its gonna be a great game at the very least. People spending thousands of dollars on internet spaceships expecting the game to be an alternative to real life are gonna be disappointed I think. Other than the out of control spending on spaceships I can't hate this game. Its built specifically for PC and uses the latest cutting edge technology that comes with developing for the platform. I can't hate it when almost everyone else is dumbing down everything and stream lining shit for consoles and brushed off PC as a second rate system.
thats fucking gross and anyone who buys it should feel bad
Bought them all, thanks.
no, if you have the money do the fuck you want, it's not an ouya. Also that's a cutlass is a price point for a MMO with a subscription fee for a little over a year. -snip: needless snarky post-
You are right, Ouya actually delivered a product people paid for
probably not the best argument to approach star citizen from all these ship packages are pre-order support jibberish, I'm not even sure they're planning on having them up for sale by the time it goes live. It's ridiculous how much people have spent, but putting up the obnoxious paywall should ensure you don't get thousands of capital warships out flooding the starter system
thats fucking gross and anyone who buys it should feel bad
Meh, I have the $250 Constellation pack. Wasn't really that bad honestly, I'm getting a ton of Kickstarter rewards and I've been incrementally backing it since early 2012. As a big fan of the Wing Commander series, I can easily justify my purchase and knowing that I've contributed financially to such an ambitious title is a good feeling.
it just looks really lame, in a "we think we're really cool" kind of way
It did have a little bit of 'trying too hard', I agree. Although the rest of the game is so far not been like that, at least to me.
hijacking the thread for the video from the QA team in Star Citizen [vid]http://3kv.in/~techbot/ShareX/2014/10-11/2014-10-11-1026-31.mp4[/vid]
All I could think of at 1:34 is "Dat Crazy Ivan." (at 1:19) :v:
The best part of the presentation yesterday was probably the early look at the planetary stuff.
I'll tell you what, they always produce some incredibly high quality commercials for their ships.
Well, at least they got the cash for it. Anyway damn look at that alien! There will be aliens!! Yes! Also I'm literally praying there will be at least a satisfactory FPS-aspect to the game, like almost 50/50 with piloting ships and shit. The only space ship game I've ever played (and had lotsa fun with) was Star Conflict. I played with small and fast ships, shooting pew-pew lazers and rockets, and sometimes kamikaze self-destruct and tactical nukes floating around the space. :v:
lmao imagine trying to justify paying 120 bux for a digital videogame spaceship
Why would it matter if your useless luxury product is real or virtual as long as it serves its purpose? Well, I guess at least the virtual version won't catch dust or eventually fill up boxes in the basement.
Why would it matter if your useless luxury product is real or virtual as long as it serves its purpose? Well, I guess at least the virtual version won't catch dust or eventually fill up boxes in the basement.
This serves no purpose and is not a "luxury," it's a shitty fucking model you can go look at in your hangar. Star citizen is never going to fulfill its promises and will never be released in any decent form.
This serves no purpose and is not a "luxury," it's a shitty fucking model you can go look at in your hangar. Star citizen is never going to fulfill its promises and will never be released in any decent form.
Do you literally go and shit post and act like a twat in every thread you go into? Maybe you should take a break and enjoy life a little.
[sp]get to get a vanduul render[/sp]
Maybe one day they'll get the game to work properly rather then spend their time on models and commercials
thats fucking gross and anyone who buys it should feel bad
You can still purchase them in the normal store once the game is out for ingame money. The funds go toward the development of the game. It's not like they're selling pay to win exclusive preorder content that you can only access through throwing hundreds at them, it's basically crowdfunding with a direct reward.
Cool ship, but I am not putting a cent towards this game until it comes out and proves it's not going to be a flop.
