Yes, because steam needs more shitty early access platformer games, and this one having the bonus of being complete furfag bait.
Havent watched the video but this is relevant and im sure its brought up in the video [t]https://i.redd.it/8gp7bmmignhy.png[/t]
been hearing about this game alot recently apparently they threw Grant Kirkhope into the budget without asking him and he denied making music for it. The devs kept insisiting he was though. its previous name before fur fun was Kewpie-Jazzy http://informedpixel.com/catastrophic-kickstarters-kewpie-jazzy/ https://techraptor.net/content/fur-fun-early-access-adventure
Wait, is that second character just straight up Timon from The Lion King? Like, an actually copyrighted character, by fucking Disney of all companies?
this sounds like the thickest load of 'game made by an inept furry with money' trope and I haven't gotten past the starting screen [editline]e[/editline] the only thing furry about it is just the playable character having an edgy fur color pattern, and the [del]jinjos[/del] caged furries in T-poses [editline]e[/editline] the UE4 asset store laden world and basic UI tutorial buried in problems is so good and the cat's tail has no rigging and is permanently erect [editline]e[/editline] the fucking ragdoll and long attack cleave this is amazing
This guy is the responsible. The only reason this game has good reviews is because he has diehard fans that are willing to buy everything he produces. [editline]when[/editline] Forgot to mention, he's also infamous for making DMCA claims on criticsm, can't wait for him to cry about what Jim said :v:
This guy is literally just Pewdiepie, holy shit. The way he acts and the way he edits his videos is pretty much completely lifted from him, that's ridiculous
How... did he get away with anything?
Forgot to mention, he's also infamous for making DMCA claims on criticsm, can't wait for him to cry about what Jim said :v:
jim always seems to accidentally bait these types doesn't he also wait how much did this guy pay to take over the project? I can only imagine he was hoping to flip it on his fanbase for the most part. With how much work that may or may not have gone into building what we see there, I'd expect it was only worth like $2k, but I wholly expect that he spent over 5-10
this sounds like the thickest load of 'game made by an inept furry with money' trope
That's actually a trope?
That's actually a trope?
There's a surprising number of surprisingly rich furries who throw their money at ridiculous stuff. I mean, fursuits alone can cost thousands of dollars
That's actually a trope?
Yes. Check out a kickstarter game called "Kaiju Combat" for another example.
That's actually a trope?
any game that's blatantly pandering to furries (blatant as in, this game with the dumb namesake and main character design, not just 'omg it has animal characters') tends to be a single person's "my first game" pet project that got blown out of proportion either through their own advertising/boasting, or the fact furries latch onto it because there's nothing out there that's just fur them. They usually die off either due to not getting actual funding/running out of funds super early, or the creator is a huge tool who drowns themself in drama and drags the project with it obviously this kinda problem isn't anything exclusive to furry developers but the raw drama-magnetism is always ten-fold. It's a safe bet to expect disaster if something's trying this hard [t]http://i.imgur.com/k0gXycA.png[/t]
-snip wrong thread lol-
10:00 wooow that's some great narration. :goodjob:
also wait how much did this guy pay to take over the project
Nobody knows for sure, but i read somewhere that the original project needed 92k (they reached about 650€ :v: ) so Dalas came in, injected some money, made some "tweaks", and told his fanbase to upvote the game on greenlight.
Yes. Check out a kickstarter game called "Kaiju Combat" for another example.
Also remember all the drama that flared over the furry who pledged $500 to the Undertale Kickstarter to get his horrid obese OC in the game.
Oh, boy, this Dalas guy currently in charge of this piece of shit is exactly that himself, he's a notoriously horrible youtuber and disgusting human being in general, and a terrible liar too since he tried to hide the fact he was the one in charge of the Fur Fun account that was insulting and abusing people who tried to call him out on all the bullshit. I could write a PhD thesis about this fucking guy and win a Nobel because he's such a disgusting waste of space that has done so much inexcusable shit; to random people, ex-girlfriends and even their dog which he was being abusive to, and just like every poisonous youtuber he's turning a lot of impressionable teenagers into pretty much neonazis. I'm surprised neither ED or Kiwifarms got to him to run his life into the ground, because apart from sexist, racist and all the other fun stuff he was a pedophile and a harrasser, he even asked his fanbase to get nudes/a sex tape from an underage girl so he could freely call her a whore on his yt channel. That guy deserves to get sued to oblivion by Disney (one of the game's character is apparently OC DONUT STEEL Timon) and Rare and rot in a jail cell, seriously, he deserved more than being thrown a jar of juice when he was presenting his sexist book.
jim always seems to accidentally bait these types doesn't he
It's bizarre how guys who make blatantly low effort shitty games/shit games FULL of stolen assets seem to have such an ego
There's a surprising number of surprisingly rich furries who throw their money at ridiculous stuff. I mean, fursuits alone can cost thousands of dollars
Mine cost $4k before I burned it in a anti-furry exorcism to cleanse my darkened soul. edit: stop rating funny I literally did this

"the game gets boring ten minutes into it" "in my ten years as a youtuber, being one of the top three YT of Spain, i have never ever experienced any of this and it points a negative view on the YT's life. If you're only going to make videos to make money and then hire people to make them for you as some sort of business, then you shouldn't do it IRL because you'll get salty soon enough". "the game is basically a copy of the sims"
That's why we're rating it dude
the edit was a funny meme
Havent watched the video but this is relevant and im sure its brought up in the video [t]https://i.redd.it/8gp7bmmignhy.png[/t]
lmao the stream store setup page literally says that they can get fined if they do this
Already two weirdish furry videos within day. Just wow...
Likely something do with Zootopia success to pandering on subculture?
See this is one of the major issues with the furry fandom. Since you only surround yourselves with other degenerate yes men all singing the same tune, you collectively believe such bullshit as this. Yes, a multi-billion animation production from a major studio was designed and built to pander to an incredibly small, niche market of maybe 100k members max that only really exists in the west, despite a worldwide release. Just ignore the billions in advertising, the kids merchandise, the fact ticket sales far exceeded the number of furries, etc. Because we're special. Being deluded in to thinking that anthropomorphic characters = THIS WAS MADE FOR FURRIES is probably one of the least offensive and legally sketchy results though.

And also this also result from its minor issues that fandom faces too as they think this would make cause of targeting acceptance from every non-furry.

People just naturally get enveloped in a fiction or ideology when they enjoy something and seek out more content, falling into fandoms and broader communities. Whether they go as far as making it a part of their identity comes down to personality, life experiences, etc. the old disney robinhood was a MASSIVE beacon for this back when there was very little other content to do so, you can tell disney's anthro style had an incredible impact on what became modern generic [western] furry. The other big influences I tend to see are lion king* and balto. Beyond that (history lesson time) if you want some weird derivative inspiration, Osamu Tezuka (creator of Astro Boy, the progenitor of anime), was inspired to draw his characters with big eyes because he was a fan of scrooge mcduck. Anime is a result of the antagonistic uncle of a character who was at the time a WWII propaganda star [t]https://68.media.tumblr.com/1ccce1b555c041a6cb04d34ed4f58797/tumblr_inline_oie9lrdeN51qdg9zr_500.jpg[/t] *I should note tezuka also pioneered the common anime-animal and anthro with a lot of his works, including 'Kimba the White Lion' which is oft noted as being heavily lifted for Lion King. Besides his official works which did contain similar content as story elements, there's also a collection of personal drawings that essentially are the earliest known official modern anime/furry transformation fetish art (found in his desk by his daughter after he passed away, embarrassing) [editline]e[/editline] this brings us back around to the point about what divides 'made for' and 'enjoyed by' though; things like zootopia were disney's entire schtick to begin with. They made a story that resonates at a human level, and furries enjoyed it, not only because it innately fell into their domain but because it was a well rounded disney movie that wasn't just another fairytale retelling. Fur Fun (and many things like it), preys on the fact that furries will flock to things that brandish themselves as part of their subculture. Sometimes it's hard to tell if it's just out of stupidity and the creator means well but is totally inept, or if it's more malice and someone's looking to make a quick buck in flipping a failed asset flip
Desire to know more intensifies
Among other things discussed already he's your usual "BAWWW EVIL FEMINAZIS ARE AFTER MEEEE" edgy sack of shit who genuinely thinks everything is a conspiracy against him, most of the time orchestrated by his exgirlfriend, and his fandom believes it and goes to her twitter to send her death treats. He has been sued multiple times by his exgirlfriend and other girls he abused (He exploited his status as a YT celebrity to go to minors in order to get into their pants and ask them for nudes, pretty much defended pedophilia publicly and as usual blamed others when he got caught. A few girls were going to sue him if I remember correctly but I have no idea if that went anywhere). When she took their dog with her to protect it he tried to sue her and guilt-trip people to have it back, going to the point of posting pathetic bullshit to look innocent and paint his exgirlfriend as a manipulative bitch when there's video evidence of the opposite he tries to cover up by sending fake DMCA takedowns (iirc there's even video of him mistreating the dog on purpose) On the topic of DMCAs he does this EVERYTIME someone makes any sort of critical video about him, plus his blocklist on Twitter is bigger than Jupiter for this very reason. For example there was a video of him that was basically him saying he'd beat the shit out of a girl for "rubbing her ass on a random guy" and took it down only to have everything go full Streisand effect on him. Basically he's a shithead that spews asinine MRA bullshit constantly like "anorexia is just a trend", making fun of people with disabilities, slit-shaming women because how dare someone cosplay if they're fat, etc... His YT channel and twitter are proof of that, and he shits out precious gems such as "BIPOLAR FEMINAZI BITCH FUCKS HER DOG" complete with clickbaity thumbnails. You can even see it on the fur fun account itself, check all those sweet abrasive replies, complete with creepy cat emojis. Btw his mother is apparently a stinking pro-homeopathy conservative fossil, so I imagine it runs in the family v:v:v Spanish youtubers (and youtubers in general) tend to be cat vomit tbh, there was this guy not long ago harrasing a delivery person, another abusing cats on video or this other one playing pranks on homeless people (giving them food filled with toothpaste) and then deleting his whole channel aside from two innocent "charity prank" videos to cover his ass.
