There were Syrian refugees who were offered lands and homes in the Uruguayan countryside, but they turned them down, on the account that "the school was too far away".
So I guess the Uruguay's government don't care about them either, right?
Boo fucking hoo. There are homeless people who are lucky to get any food daily. Refugees need to stop bitching
Poor little souls.
They had perfect lives in Syria and then big bad sweden came along ripping them from their homeland, bringing them to sweden.
These kinds of things happen when a country is supposed to take in thousands of people and somehow organize it in a really short timespan.
Self entitled human waste. Why should we help if your going to act like this, how about some appreciation that we are taking in this rubbish.
i really hate how guys like this are giving a bad rep to all refugees
I wonder how they would feel to live in a refugee camp in Africa or Lebanon instead, where you eat only rice balls with a maybe a tent if lucky for shelter.
I bet the food is just typical camp quality food which isn't bad at all.

People acting ordinarily or "as you'd expect" don't make the headlines tho.
Ha.
What kinda food were they given?
similar thing happened in finland when they were given porridge or something
i mean it's completely edible and many people eat it but i can see why someone wouldn't like it
you're being a fucking tool if you go on "hunger strike" because of it though
What kinda food were they given?
As long as it isn't pork, i can't imagine any sort of food which would logically be a reason for this sort of strike
Send them back to Syria?
Fucking pricks aren't entitled to anything. Fuck off back home.
All I can say is, if you're bitching about the fact you're even ALLOWED to be refugees in Sweden, let alone be actually fed while staying there? You can fuck right off.
These dipshits aren't entitled to shit.
If they're dissatisfied with this, they can go back to Syria (if that's even where they came from). I'm sure a lot of people there would love to have the meals they so selfishly deny.
Starve please.
I like how recently a refugee protest (dont remember the country) was discussed on Facepunch, the protest was about refugees being placed too far away from schools, and everyone was like "You can't treat them like this!". And now people are like "just go back to Syria ffs".
The view changed in less than a month.
Not that I don't like it.

The acid test of every viewpoint is "will it change when it meets concrete conditions or will it affirm it self?"
Personally, I have no food in the house. They have it better then me. Difficult to feel sympathy.

Seconded, there was a time in my life where i survived off of canned peaches and saltines for an embarassing amount of time. Anybody that's bitching about shelter and a full stomach gets not even the smallest iota of sympathy from me.
The behavior of these refugees is absolutely astounding. If they had it so bad in Syria, how can they complain about food and shelter? For fucks sakes, I wish I had free food and shelter.
Why is everyone here talking about people being entitled to anything? Don't you just help people because that's what a normal human being would do? I'm not saying they aren't acting like stuck-up shits but why does everyone here only help people who 'deserve' it?
it's because of how they're acting
they can fuck right off
if they acted like normal human beings i'd be happy to help

Lutefisk.
God rest their souls.

anybody would be furious if they got given that stuff.
Looks like a recording from my student mess hall on a engineering college, all guys in their twenties and only two women around.

It's facepunch both sides are fucking idiots. Thats how it is, sometimes people try to be justice warriors other times they are the opposite. Facepunch is a utopia of ignorant morons.

nope, this happens when we basically open our arms to them and say "come! we'll keep you safe and fed!"
huge expectations

maybe a few people have flip flopped their opinion, but I've had the same opinion from day 1, and now it just shows how people are right that this was a bad decision.
but I don't condemn the people that had a positive opinion about it tbch
We don't really expect people who fled from a war with the subhuman garbage that is ISIS, to come to another country to take refuge, and then complain about the things they are given, when theres people in that country who have even less or quite literaly nothing, and don't complain half as much, if at all.
No wonder people change their opinions. Refugees in past wars would be thankful for just being in another country, away from war, and would fight through hardships and come out of it stronger and still glad they did it instead of staying back in what could basicaly be hell.
