It's not going to win any story writing competitions, but I've played it for like 14 hours now, and I've liked it.

I never played any of Mass Effects though. Maybe I should.
In Mass Effect 3 there are definitely parts that seem pretty odd/stupid but Shepard does seem a little more like an actual person, like Jackald said.
It's actually funnier to watch videos of the best moments of Mass Effect 3 on youtube than to play through the game and suffer through the many horrible scenes of the game.
Even though in this case the horrible scenes are actually the best ones :v:
