Haha it's weird my sister's kitten loves taking baths, she thinks she's a dog.
I love cats but they're god damn drama queens about water.

Oh god the videos comment section, don't read the comments. They will give you cancer.
That dog took it like a man.
There's no reason to give a cat a bath unless it like literally rolled in shit or something and is visibly filthy and can't/won't clean itself. :v:

That aside, the video was funny. Should have held it by the scruff.

Why the hell am I being dumbed to oblivion?
Get one, get a million.
Fuzz That Sniz, ya knoe wat I'm sayin?
Contemplating giving my cat a bath
She absolutely sucks at grooming herself, and she's silent and easy-going. I might have a chance of her not giving a fuck
My cat will literally just stand there and meow, but he doesn't try to get out or attack or anything.
In most cases it is stupid to wash your cat under running water. Running water only scares them more. Just fill the bath with a little bit of water and slowly add kitty to the mix. I find that using a wet sponge is rather effective since it's similar feeling to how cats bathe instead of just putting them under the tap.

Only if they've never been around it. Turkish Vans love water and if you've been bathing a cat since they were a kitten they'll be fine with it.

You broke his will.
All he had to do was hold it by pulling the skin at the scruff of it's neck and it would be 1000 times easier cause the thing would just go limp.
Why would you wash any pet right below the tap like that? Just fill the tub to just a few inches then use a washcloth and some shampoo. Some still won't like that but it's a hell of a lot better than just grabbing it and holding it below the tap.
I used to give my cat a bath and he would act just like this for a few seconds until he realized it was too late to stay dry, he would just give up after that and sit there with his ears down. I miss my little key key.

dogs dont care about water like cats, mine just sit there looking all petrified with a thousand yard stare directed at me
The dog looked so defeated.
My dog would flip the fuck out during bath time. She did NOT like the bathtub, she would hiss (yeah she hissed it was weird) and bit and shit.
Then we just realized the hose was way better
This was me months ago. So funny still.
The best thing to do is set them in the tub, hold the scruff of their neck and they will be 90% more cooperative with the bath. Holding them by the pits like that just adds to their discomfort.
My dog hates getting in the bath, but putting him on the side opposite the faucet and using a cup to pour water onto him works just fine. Dunno why this guy just dunked his pets under the faucet.
I've only ever bathed one of my cats once, because it dug up the carpet and rolled around in the wood glue underneath :v:
and I always just made a game of it with my dogs, hoses and sprinklers and the like
Cats don't need baths.
Cats don't need baths.
Unless they like to roll around in shit.
Of course the cat isn't gonna be calm with the sound of the water and the guy speaking loudly.
Gotta ease the cat into the water, speak very calmly while petting it and get it used to being in the water, you can't bath a cat like you would a dog, well, in most cases anyways.
Cats don't need baths.
my longhair cat once good poop in his fur that wouldn't come out so he needed washed, and also needed washed when he got fleas
When I need to bathe my cat I just pour warm water into the tub (about 3 inches), turn it off and then just hold her legs until she gets used to the warm water, then she never wants to leave :v:

No, actually I'm pretty sure humans really do need baths. Not just for the social aspect of personal hygiene, but the health aspect as well. Not bathing can eventually cause all manners of bacteria to fester allover your body, and you will most likely end up getting sick a lot more often than people who bathe regularly.
Refusing to bathe is like turning your body into a cesspool of germs. Saying that "humans don't need baths" is pretty stupid.
Cats do need baths. Cats understand what hygiene is, even if it's just a simple, basic instinctual understanding. We all know that cats can clean themselves. However, putting them in a tub of water and washing them with soap is a completely alien concept to their idea of hygiene, so it's understandable why they wouldn't like it, but just because cats can clean themselves does not mean that they don't need a real bath once in awhile.
If your cat ends up with fleas, sometimes the only option is to regularly wash them in a tub with some kind of treatment shampoo. If your cat is just generally dirty with things like clumps of dirt and dingleberries allover their fur, they need a bath. Sometimes, cats just don't even feel like cleaning themselves at all.

You get these things for fleas.
