Can't find any of the other ones in english though unfortunately, but they'll start popping up eventually.

Aww. I was hoping they were gonna bust out the classic "You fool!"

Honestly i love Sean and his goku but I can't help but feel he dropped the ball on the FighterZ dub. It's not bad by any means but it's def not his best work. He can do so much better
I'm always kinda weirded out that every fucking game has the Goku vs Frieza fight take place on some magma version of Namek even though that never happened.

I feel like a lot of DB Games are dubbed with no visual of the scene they are dubbing, only being told what is going on and how fast they have to deliver the line. It's why so many lines don't line a single bit with any of the lip flaps, hell Frieza has a victory quote that is like 5 words and then moves his mouth in silence for a good second.
I'm sure they'd do a lot better if they were given footage as reference, like basically when they dub the show. The only thing that work in blind dubs like that are grunts and battle shouts. Even then, some are hilarious in ENG. Frieza going "GUU! CHI! GUU! CHI!" when you're comboing him never gets old.

I did some digging and I read that the beta doesn't feature any english dub or dialogue, but that it will be present in the full game. Don't know if that was just teaser footage or what.
Still though, really loving the fact that its not just how you finish your opponent, but the characters involved that can also determine the fight's ending. Really cool idea in my opinion.

I think that's just from supers finishing off other characters on the team.

I'm in the beta, you can change the language in the options to have the dub
Why does this shit have to be $139.99 in Canada for the version with all the DLC, that's absurd.
probs gonna buy it anyway tho

Because our dollar sucks
Because our dollar sucks
Even then, 140 is absolutely absurd for any game, and typically they hit 119.99-129.99 at most. It only seems to be Japanese titles that end up with such overblown prices too.
Luckily I don't really care for Japanese games in general, and just have a soft spot for DBZ games.
Man for someone who knows about dragon ball only from the abridged series, those voices sure sound fucking weird

This is a recurring problem in the games nowadays. He does excellent work in Kai and Super, but once they started running out of excuses to reuse lines in the games, a lot of the voice actors have been phoning it in. Xenoverse 2 was especially bad, mostly because the voice direction was so terrible they didn't even get to see the cutscenes they were VAing to (and were let loose to do whatever they want really, which is how the TFS voices got in).
Xenoverse 2 was especially bad, mostly because the voice direction was so terrible they didn't even get to see the cutscenes they were VAing to.
And some Super characters they knew nothing about (at the time), like Goku Black and Zamasu and just had to make up the voices based on just character descriptions.
Good news is they re-worked Goku Black's voice for FighterZ and the English Dub of Super, he won't sound the same as he does in XV2.

Hopefully someone will make a mod on PC to fix that problem.

Considering five voices already in the game are DBA, there's no problem to fix.
Secondly, if you're saying DBA episodes are 1:1 DBZ/S episodes and they can just mix and match you might want to sit down for this one:

Forgive me, I went digging in the settings and couldn't find the option to change the dub. That was when the beta first came back so maybe I should check again.
Don't mean to offend anyone, but I can't stand the japanese dub.

uh, what? I think you're thinking of Xenoverse.

Yeah it was added with the current Beta.

TFS has said if modding the PC version is possible, they might make a voice pack.

People who watch Dragon Ball in Japanese are not to be trusted

Wow I feel insulted.
I’m only watching it so I don’t get spoiled.
People who watch Dragon Ball in Japanese are not to be trusted
Man the thought of watching the japanese Dub of it was so alien to me a few years ago, but then I started watching super because I was too impatient to wait, and now listening to sean schemmel's scream is probably one of the most grating things on the planet to me now.
It really is insane how they managed to make the game look so good 3D but as 2D, its so weird but amazing. Its fucking insane how faithful it is to the source material.
Guilty Gear Xrd was the practice grounds for their technique of using intense and per-frame shadows and rendering on 3D models to recreate a 2D style. Look up that one conference talking about the stuff they do on the characters in those games and you'll get the gist of what they've done for FighterZ, combined with the animators clearly combing over the manga and anime for direct references almost 1:1 in composition.
As much money-grubbing shit as Arc System Works has been doing with Blazblue and treading with Guilty Gear, their artists and animators are brilliant and crazy dedicated.
for reference, the first game arcsys revealed this animation technique was with guilty gear xrd in 2013:

it's not all fine and dandy though, the problem with how they aniamte it is that it's very time consuming as each frame is hand animated, so it's amazing for canned cinematics or animations but for longer cutscenes if it's not animated hand by hand, it doesn't look so great as things are quite static.
god damn
how does this look so good
Arc system works
This game has really consumed all of my hype and attention since it got announced. An arcsys DBZ game was something that I was hopelessly pining for, and so to see it actually realized - and look this fucking good - is a dream come true. In already a huge Guilty Gear/BlazBlue fan, but this is really a big landmark achievement for arcsys in every single way.
Even the gameplay, which I was initially skeptical of being too simple and one-dimensional, is really shaping up to be accessible yet excellent with a lot to sink your teeth into. It seems like it's had a lot of thought put into every single decision and even more love put into realizing it all.
Anyone amazed by all of the fantastic work done with FighterZ owes it to themselves to put arcsys on your radar and check out Guilty Gear and their other titles. They've really been carrying the torch for stylish, satisfying, and polished fighting games for a while now.
Personally I hope they get the chance to work on other licenses, like Jojo's Bizarre Adventure would be a good fit.
People who watch Dragon Ball in Japanese are not to be trusted
I watched the original Dragonball last year and I had no problem with it in japanese.
in fact the English dub cut out alot of the jokes
its a damn shame that Latin dub of the game is not ever going to happen. Dragon Ball is huge in south america and half of that is thanks to the dub. when they replaced the VAs for Kai it did so poorly they had to go back and redub the entire show(wich is why Super is doing so well).
but after a year and more of watching super in japanese i'm more than happy to watch the show with the original dub. and i'm more than happy that they give you an option to not use the english dub wich i pwrsonally find atrocious.
