Not really a fan of this video, I hope PewDiePie doesn't make these a thing
Pewds what the hell are you doing.
i think he should take this down, CWC is going to get a lot more harassment than usual now
yeah dunno why he made this, also he didnt mention the fact that chris is.. highly autistic. just leave him alone at this point
Chris Chan has officially gone mainstream with a spotlight of 57 million subscribers getting acquainted with him.
man, this was a really bad idea...
people post this in every thread
chris thrives off the attention, whenever the attention goes away he purposely does shit to get it back (which is what happened when people pretty much collectively left him alone years ago)
he functions better with the harassment than he does without it and his life pretty much relies on it now
while he might be getting more attention, it wont change anything for him
nobody as big as pewdiepie has made a video on him before, this is essentially enabling him and isn't a good idea. this doesn't help him in any way, shape or form.
so the most hated person on YouTube with arguably the biggest audience decides to randomly harass an autistic person who stopped being a meme, if even that, several years ago
why
This shouldn't have been posted. Does PewDiePie ever learn from his mistakes?
i think he should take this down, CWC is going to get a lot more harassment than usual now
There is a full Sonic Boom episode dedicated to him (albeit without saying his name) so I don't think this video will make a lot of difference.
Wow, you guys overreact waaaay to much.

Why learn from "mistakes" when your mistakes make you shit tons of ad revenue money on youtube and have your fanbase blindly defend you whenever something actually goes wrong?

To be fair she asked for it with how she's always presented herself online.
its like saying lighting a campfire next to a raging inferno "isnt a good idea"
But it isn't a good idea. If there's a fire going, you don't add to it.

chris is internet history at this point, this wont make much of a difference
If this is the case then what's the point of making this video? I really dislike that someone with such a large audience is doing this.

You seem to think that PewDiePie is only after the money and does not want to improve in any way. If he didn't care he would be stuck with the same schema in 2012: play a lot of video games and overreact on every possibility. This made him a lot of money, while making his channel go up in subscribtions.
If he didn't care, he would not make any apology videos everytime a mistake was made. If he didn't care, he would blindlessly follow every wish his fans have towards him, which would eventually make him more money and possibly liquidate any room for improvement. He montioned numerous times that he tries to improve his content, making it more enjoyable and more proffesional. Pewdiepie wouldn't lie all this time because:
1. Once you are familiar with his personality, you realize he is nit a type of person that would lie to benefit.
2. He can't lie to begin with. Eye movement and tonation gives it away.
I personally do not believe he is on youtube only for the money. And so I don't agree with your statement.
Also his fanbase improved once he criticized them numerous times.
Feels a bit shitty to see people suddenly care about CWC getting bullied or whatever after people here have made fun of her for years. You can't suddenly feel bad about that happening because it's "mainstream" now.
If your thought is now "leave her alone" I agree. You need to ask yourself why it was okay for the last few years.
Wow, you guys overreact waaaay to much.
What do you think the result of this video being uploaded is going to be?
Do you think it's responsible of Pewdewpie to draw attention to someone like Chrischan considering the size and quality of their audience?

i think the difference is that i was essentially a child when i first found out about CWC as he's been a staple of internet/meme/4chan culture for years and years. i thought it was funny, but i (and i assume many people) have grown up.

Opinions don't stay the same over time? Maybe some people feel bad about teasing and prodding in the past. Of course it doesn't excuse their past behavior, but it's completely possible to change how they feel about it. I imagine many people matured since it was a thing.
There's like a bajillion videos online about Pewdiepie and a lot of them are way more abrasive than Pewdiepie's.
Felix making a video about someone isn't some kind of voodoo curse.

???
The difference is the 57 million subscribers. Felix making a video about somebody isn't the same as somebody with 1k subs making a video.
Cute how suddenly people give a shit about Chris' feelings when he's shown time and time again that he thrives off of harrassment and attention, no matter how negative. Yeah it can't be nice having a bunch of YouTube users trying to start shit with you but nothing in the long term will change
I feel bad for Chris Chandler. He should have been put in a group home ages ago instead of being a guinea pig for people on the internet. It's mostly his parent's fault but also the fault of various services. In general it's sickening how this has been going on for a decade.
so because hes popular he cant do or say what he wants since you believe that there is potential harm
yes, like it or not he has a lot of influence and he should be conscious of how he throws that influence around.
Good lord Felix, this is by far one your worst ideas
CWC is to be left alone, what you've done now is brought all the old demons back up to full speed
so because hes popular he cant do or say what he wants since you believe that there is potential harm
Not that he can't. Obviously he can do whatever he wants. It's just that you have to be responsible about the influence you have. It kinda reminds me of when H3H3 started saying it was hard to do reaction videos. They said it was like they had a huge gun they could point at any target and it felt dangerous. Even if they told people not to harass them, a chunk of their audience would still do it anyways.

Pewdiepie has relatively low views relatively to his subscriber count. Because he has 57 million subscribers doesn't mean all of his videos will get 57 million views.
The video's amassed half a million views by now. There's a documentary about Chris Chan released a year ago by a guy with 100k subscribers that reached that same amount, and another 60 minute long documentary released 2 years ago by a guy with even fewer subs which broke a million views.

I'm not sure what you're trying to prove by telling me those figures? You're just proving my point, Felix's video has got 500k views in 2 hours, it took 2 years for that documentary to get 1m. This video has gotten much more exposure than any previous video on CWC.
im sorry but the fact you are trying to silence someone in arbitrary areas you have no real understanding of because hes popular is kinda shitty
And I think the fact that somebody as popular as PewDiePie feels the need to make videos like this when he knows he's going to send a lot of abuse CWC's way is kinda shitty
Pewdiepie has relatively low views relatively to his subscriber count. Because he has 57 million subscribers doesn't mean all of his videos will get 57 million views.

And I ask again, does it make this okay? Not really directed at you since you didn't say that but more in general. That could be a million entirely new set of people. I don't know how throwing more fuel into a fire is okay because the fire is already big.
And even if that video gets a lot of exposure, who fucking cares ? Chris-Chan has gone off the deep end a long time ago, pewdiepie making a fairly straight forward video presenting him isn't going to have negative consequences.
This is just dumb overreaction.
