Pretty damn informative.
I've always been aware of how influential The Shadow was when they created Batman back in the day - and to be honest, I've always liked The Shadow better than Batman. I've only read the Ennis run (6 numbers, IIRC), and I actually liked it, despite what he says about it in the comments.
