Woah. Would have been cooler in-game if it had happened like that. Unfortunently cutscenes aren't in the original deus-ex's style.
And now I want a Deus Ex movie
And now I want a Deus Ex movie
There was a leaked behind the scenes of a live action DXHR project ages ago but news on that has been totally dark.
The proportions on those people are all really weird though
The proportions on those people are all really weird though
They always are in his animations, I think it might just be his style or something. Though really there's no excuse for poor anatomy.
I thought it was kind of uh, badly animated. Like, it's not a 'style'. Just poor animation. And anatomy.
I laughed at the weird floaty arms animation.

The artstyle and the lanky arms reminds me of this so badly
Their arms... are so long. It's like every character is Slenderman. It's barely consistent, either; one scene, the arms are normal, the next, they're all wonky. Other than that, I really liked that animation. I also noticed they patched the voicework up for Trouble at the 'Ton. That's really good, since it was horrendous in the first version.
I think because he was using more 2D backgrounds in this so his camera work was a bit zoomed at points to match the background which is a bit odd. No doubt he can improve easily enough though.
The whole thing reminded me of the Tron cartoon, Tron Uprising. 3D, characters have weird proportions, weird shading.
Voice acting was pretty good, They captured the bad accents and stiff emotionless delivery from the game well.

If there was a Deus Ex show done in this style I would definitely watch it. That was really good, even if some parts did look a little odd.
