It cannot be jailbroken without turning into a brick one way or another (apparantly).
The only big difference between 3G and 3GS is that the 3G take 4 seconds less to load an application (:O WOW!)
3GS has Compass (Uuuh), Video Recorder (Mmmmhmmm...) and Voice Control (WTF IS THIS SHIT?)

To me, 3GS seems like a fine phone. If you paid 200 dollars when the 3G came out, and the 3GS is the same price, it looks like a good deal for the speed and extra features. Don't want to be insulting or anything, but I smell some jealousy. (please don't flame me, whoever's gonna reply to this)

Dude what the fuck man. I didn't brick my iphone, it just wouldnt start up properly after i turned it off and on again.
And your jailbreak wasnt very successful either. Your battery got completely unloaded during the night and your apps opened up much slower. Don't go toss shit all over the place about how I'm a dumbass and "bricking" my phone and saying the 3Gs is shit.
