I never would have thought I would see something really cute and have it be Danny DeVito.
That was fucking awesome. For one, huge props for depicting [sp]not just gay people, but OLD gay people. I adore characters that are non-traditional, so this is a huge positive for me. For two, they never outright say "Oh by the way this is a gay couple." They just present it to you, and I think that just nails the whole "dropping in on someone's life" sort of thing. For three, the guys are just so real. They aren't feminine, they aren't flamboyant, they aren't stereotypical, they aren't just there to push the creator's message. They just feel like real, actual people.[/sp]
This definitely inspires me a lot. If I ever meet Danny I think this is gonna be the first thing I bring up. What's a shame is if any news article presents this it's going to be like [SP]'Danny DeVito depicts elderly gay couple in the most endearing way'[/sp] or something fuckin' stupid like that which gives the whole thing away and ruins the surprise and effect.
I know two old guys who are always together and act just like this. Now I'm questioning if they are together or are Statler and Waldorf in real life.
That was fucking beautiful
I definitely wanna live in that assisted living place, that staffer got so much time for one resident and it's not even a retirement home :O
That was great, loved it.
That was great. Had a big smile at the end of it. :)
I read the title as cum dungeons and had to re-read it like 4 times.

deep dark fantasies ♂
That was really well made.
This was a great little film, such great pacing.
[sp]the first record they played didn't spin though aaaa[/sp]
What, that 'Lover boy' song made famous by Dirty Dancing isn't romantic enough? Pfft.
So strange to watch this right after binging the first three seasons of IASIP for the first time
Their relationship reminds me a lot of my grandma's. She lost her husband relatively early and was alone for almost 40 years before falling in love with her next door neighbour. They had a very similar relationship, always being very crass, but you could also see the tender love between them.
It really hit her hard when he passed away, pretty much never got over it nor got any better.
The daughter's acting was a little unnatural but it was a great film overall.
wasn't expecting to tear up this morning god damn
Kinda cool that basically over half of the people acting are part of Danny's family.
That was really cute. If someone pitched the synopsis at me I'd expect it to be hamfisted and uncomfortable but it wasn't in the slightest.

This purified me. Love it. What the fuck Danny how did you do it you magnificent couch baby
I never imagined I would feel anything about [sp]an elderly gay Brooklyn couple getting engaged until now.[/sp] This film had a purpose and DeVito succeeded.
That was so nice, I feel just a bit better in general about everything now
But I just discovered and binged IASIP, si I had a really hard time shaking off DeVito's character from that show and seeing him as this old man
Yep, cried at the end. Couldn't deal.
