Close enough anyways http://www.wimp.com/aggressivemaneuvers/
wouldn't call it a manhack but cool nonetheless. movements while in air seem really stable.
That actually looks really fucking awesome.
Thats actually fucking awesome whoah holy shit hivemind ^
That is amazing.
Just wait, they'll attach knives to it someday.
One word: Awesome.
They should make this a toy and make millions.
Now, I wonder how they control it.
They should make this a toy and make millions.
One unit probably costs a ridiculous (or not so, considering how well it performs) price.
That is incredibly badass. Now for a man sized Quadrotor for people to fly. [editline]04:17PM[/editline]
One unit probably costs a ridiculous (or not so, considering how well it performs) price.
There was a pile of them on the ground.
One unit probably costs a ridiculous (or not so, considering how well it performs) price.
It's not the unit that costs, it's programming. All I see is a device with 4 rotor blades. But the program calculates which rotor rotates at which speed to make that movement.

Now that is badass. Just put a spinning blade under it.
I think it has some kind of external sensor to detect when it is near objects to avoid them and move accordingly.
No, I think he's right. It's probably just really good programming. The vid talked about being able to move anywhere in space, but not on it's own, meaning it doesn't have the programming to figure out what exactly it needs to go through, but it's very good at doing what it's told.
Wimp is blocked by my student accomodation internet providers' filter. Fuck my life.
Pretty cool. I wonder if they are controlled by a program or by a controller of types. It seems using a controller would be quite hard considering how precise the movements are.

I want one. D:
That is amazing.
I think it has some kind of external sensor to detect when it is near objects to avoid them and move accordingly.
Still I don't think it would cost more than 200$ to make the hardware part. But the price that they will give to it is a whole different story *cough*Apple*cough* And about the warfare, Am I the only one that see this things like a little spies that attach themselves to walls in different areas and spy shit rather than killing everyone?
that thing is a hell of a lot more stable than the commercial toy heli things looks promising
It definitely maneuvers better then a manhack
That's awesome whoever was controlling it is an awesome pilot.
Jesus christ, these need to be made into production ASAP in those R/C shops, I need to have one of these!
Add some guns to them and replace swat with them
Any significant amount of ammo would be too heavy, but they could put a pepperspray canister on it or something
Oh wow.
That's awesome whoever was controlling it is an awesome pilot.
It's autonomous, there is no pilot
The hacks!
my mind was blown [editline]10:39AM[/editline]
It's autonomous, there is no pilot
someone was still controlling it though, so you could call that person the pilot of the thing they were flying.
