A retro style horror game with fixed camera angles. Could have been interesting I suppose although I'm not exactly a fan of all the quick time events.

I think this and the streets of rage reboot are the two cancelled games that really shouldn't have been. Also the original Battlefront 3.

I never really understood what people meant by "good sound design" in games until I saw this trailer. Like holy shit every single one of those sounds has no oomph to it.
I'm not sure if that video is of the one area I remember playing back on the 3DO on a demo disc

Damn shame this was cancelled. It looked pretty good, and I'm a huge sucker for survival horror games with fixed camera angles and tank controls.
Alone in the Dark is a series that should stay dead. It had its impact when it first came out, but so many series have completely outshined it now that I'd much rather see people do new stuff rather than try to bring this old thing back to life.
Honestly, I would love to see a remake of Alone In The Dark: The New Nightmare. That game scared the shit out of me as a kid. Fun times.
Man that seeing that chest in the attic just gave me the biggest nostalgia chills.
