A heavily distorted Red Engineer made nearly unintelligible threats to the Blue Team, emulating the style of a 1987 TV pirate who dressed up as Max Headroom. The signal was on the air for nearly two minutes, before turning to static, and then resuming the original programming shortly thereafter. This threatening video will certainly only precede the horrors to come, as the engineer later stated in a letter to the press that he was ready to "beat the Blue Team like a rented donkey". It is our guess that he managed to build an antenna to override the blue team propaganda, and insert this video of his own. Attempts by the blue team to trace the signal have been unsuccessful. "I got so upset, I wanted to bust the TV set! I really did!" the blue scout said when interviewed. Apparently, the Blue Heavy threw his precious sandvich at the television screen in his bout of rage. "Da, my poor little sandvich. How could this happen! I will kill the Red Engineer who make me mad like this!" The spy reports seeing the Red Engineer "in some sort of mischief having to do with an antenna of some sorts". Blue Engineer spoke today about what might've happened. "Ya see, the broadcastin' system here uses a microwave transmitter ousride this here fort. If someone were ta' use their own transmitter with a heck of a lot more power, they could override the durn' signal and do somethin' like this...I just wish I'd thought of it first!" The Engineer then proceeded to mumble curses about the Red Team, walking out of the door, wrench in hand. As of yet, there is no new information available on the subject.
To those who don't understand it, this video was made to parody the max headroom pirate broadcast video from 1987:
dudewat
Lol good video editor.
This is completely stupid and pointless.
That's some nice editing. Also I can't tell what he says. Subtitles, please?
Max Engineeroom [editline]01:05PM[/editline]
That's some nice editing. Also I can't tell what he says. Subtitles, please?
i think he filtered engineers voice itself
Was this supposed to be scary?
I'm not sure what this is or what it was intended to be. I do not want to find out.
That Max Headroom still freaks me the fuck out.
Late last night on 2fort, a rouge transmission
Why are there still people who do this?
To the people who don't know: It's a recreation of the Max Headroom video, years ago some random guy wearing a mask took over a TV channel for a few minutes by overiding the signal and the bottom video is what was broadcast to everyone at home. He's just made a TF2 version of it.
No shit, he even said it himself
All you did was make an engineer dance around for a little bit, I was hoping it would be funny, sound replacements and what not but I was very disappointed. I want to see you after class young man.
Why are there still people who do this?
You cannot unsee. :smug: On the topic of the video, it would have been funny to see him do something other than sway about the screen, like get paddled or something. :v:
disturbing to say the least
3 seconds in... and YouTube won't load the rest. Why must YouTube add useless features that no one wants that ends up making it impossible to actually watch VIDEOS?
