Here's the video by Sid Alpha that he mentioned
get sued cunt
hope she enjoys never being employed again
Wow, way to commit career suicide. He / She is not stopping there right now apparently! If these tweets are to be believed, Alex here is also going on the offensive on Adult Swim's Duck Hunt. Yeah, this person just went off the deep end and I doubt they'll get out of this legal nightmare unscathed.
Yeah, this person just went off the deep end and I doubt they'll get out this legal nightmare unscathed.
Sadly sometimes these people go unpunished and it fucking sucks because he's affecting peoples income Going after someone verbally is one thing, going after peoples income, lmao holy shit don't you dare

EDIT: looks like there is a second video by SidAlpha now: Sounds like she is going full Digital Homicide with things. SECOND EDIT: Looks like she is demanding ransoms from Youtubers:
Way to piss off everyone. This'll be fun :v:
All this bullshit for MUSIC in a simple indie game ransoming someones income with a 10k demand how massively dumb can you get lmao
My guess is she's had a mental breakdown or is desperate for money (or both), it's a shame she's bringing down a bunch of Youtubers in the process.
It's one thing going after small time YouTubers, but she's playing with fire going after Turner Broadcasting. They will go after her if they feel damaged in any way by what she's doing.
Email AS and ask them to take this shithead to court, I'd love to see them give 'er hell.
Leonard French the attorney is going over this.

[editline]25th June 2017[/editline] DOG ON STRIM holy shit the donations are in full force thanks to the dogs
Jim's thoughts on the whole thing:
The saga continues:
I see a possibility for some good to come out of this. Since it's such a flagrant misuse of the flagging system, maybe it'll send the message to Youtube to re-evaluate how copyright claims work. I doubt it's a big enough issue to elicit reform overnight, but maybe it'll get them moving in the right direction.

I seem to be missing something here. A company did not pay the work an artist did for the game and yet the game was released (and presumably sold). Why is the artist in the wrong for wanting their money? TB says that as a contractor all rights to the finished product are waived, which is true, but surely if the work is not paid, then that is a completely void statement.

What everyone is arguing however is the methods of how she tries to bring up the developer's mistreatment. Why shoot unreleated and innocent civilians and get those same individuals to fight her battles? Was she really expecting people to be okay with messing with their livelihoods? Is she really expecting Adult Swim ( Turner Broadcasting ) to kneel before her spurious Cease and Desist? Further more does she really expect to keep on working in that industry going on this deranged rampage? A "Studio" like Digital Homicide exists for a reason, as a sort of cautionary tale of just how far one can push their professional status to the limits. Something Alex is going to have to learn the hard way.
what i want to know is, with the youtube copyright system being so broken, what prevents some dung beetle from putting three copyright strikes at once against every single big youtuber and shutting them all down? Literally the only evidence that any protection like this exists is that it hasn't already happened.

The problem is that she's attacking everyone except the people who owe her money. If your employer skimps out on your paycheck, you don't go mugging strangers on the street to make up the difference. Or at least I hope you don't. Her problem is with the studio, and should be contained to the studio. Going around claiming videos random people make of the game, and then demanding that they pay her money, is absolutely the wrong way to go about it.
I stubbed my toe on a door Gmod4ever, I'm banning you from facepunch unless you pay me 10,000USD in compensation. You as well Loofiloo. I know you work for the door company and its all your fault.

And even if it would artist has already done damage to their own case because they have tried to use blackmail (dmca) to forward their own case. Also artist should have taken the company to court first. But yeah the leonard french attorney video has answers to your questions.
Apparently she's trying to hire Leonard French to fight the "Turner Broadcasting Situation" [editline]26th June 2017[/editline] She made a thread on the Starr Mazer discussions board http://steamcommunity.com/app/462100/discussions/0/1368380934255690489/
Apparently she's trying to hire Leonard French to fight the "Turner Broadcasting Situation"
Is she just trying to say that so she can claim "conflict of interest" to keep him from being involved against her or something?
