I can't explain enough how much I love watching VICE. It's like the saving grace of journalism. That's crazy how these people will try to carry on with their lives.
This reporter/photographer annoys me with his bias but maybe he's just doing it on purpose to try and get the rebels to talk and open up more. Interesting footage none the less.
It's interesting to see the improvised nature of the equipment the rebels are using, only two of those snipers were using actual purpose-built sniper rifles (and one of them jammed), all the rest were using other types of weapons (two battle rifles, one light machine gun, one carbine) with scopes welded onto them.

Very rarely can one reporter get both sides of the story easily enough.
