I'm into Kendama (and share the last name) so I figured i'd see what Facepunch thinks of my favorite bastardization of ball-in-cup.
I just got a Kendama this Friday, and I haven't been able to put it down since. Cool video.
Which brand did you get?
I'm currently using a sweets kendama.

But really, that was pretty cool. I used to have one of these when I was a kid and I could never get it on the fucking stick.

I got one of these [url]http://www.kendama.bigcartel.com/product/activate-july-4-kendama-usa-pro-models[/url] at a local shop, didn't do very much research before buying but I'm pretty happy with it so far. I'm still working on the basics and I can't do anything with Tama grip for the life of me.

Practice cup combos until you're comfortable, then practice orbits, then get into spikes!
