Mike likes it.... [sp]because it's shlock[/sp]
How did they not get what Apocalypse' motivation was?
Pretty obvious just from trailers he wants mutant supremacy.
Cute ending
Eh, it was dumb fun. The reason I preferred it to Civil War was that there wasn't much lost potential.
Also how do they not get his motivation, he wants mutant supremacy and to rule the world? What is it with big movie critics having elements a child could understand going completely over their head? I've seen this happening all the time recently, it happens a lot in gaming too.

And then he wants [sp]to mind control everyone[/sp] for some reason.

[sp]If he can read minds then what happened to him last time won't happen because he can know whether or not people are planning on betraying him.[/sp]

Come on guys this is easy stuff... this is literally Saturday morning cartoon plot writing.

[sp]Which is kinda stupid since he doesn't have to swap bodies after he's gotten the regeneration, he's immortal, so what happened to him won't happen again anyway[/sp]

Well [sp]he can still be trapped like last time if he's immortal.[/sp]
Well [sp]he can still be trapped like last time if he's immortal.[/sp]
Nope, [sp]he was trapped while swapping bodies, and precisely because of that. If he wasn't "absent" during that moment, he could've prevented the betrayal, or at the very least mitigated the consequences of it. That was his one weakness and he got rid of it, he became pretty much invincible[/sp] So he actually did the opposite, he opened himself up to be defeated. But that's because he's arrogant and it's ironic, so the stupidity of the stunt he pulled can be justified by his character.

He outright said [sp]he wanted to read minds so nobody could ever plot against him again[/sp] but it was that too.

I'm not denying that it was his motivation, but it was kind of stupid of him. It wasn't his intention until he discovered that he could possess such an ability, at which point he got obsessed with it, which fits the character just fine.

the point is that it doesnt make any sense
if his plan goes through, he has a world of [sp]mutants sitting around under his control that can do literally nothing because he's beaten his opposition, apocalypse is gonna do what, just chill for a millenia?[/sp]

Yeah pretty much, dude just wants to take over the world man, why you gotta criticize him so much. All he wants to do is rule over humanity.

Unification by force as means to instill total peace. That's it, just like every other dictator in history.
