So telling people that immigrate to a country to abide the law of said country is racist, islamophobe and extremely right?

Yeah I'm confused to this whole situation as well.
Do they really want Sharia Law?
Sorry, haven't really looked into this situation in the UK
I'm watching this video right now and was just thinking about making a thread about it. I'm not from the Great Britain so I'm not that knowledgeable about what is going on other than the occasional news article. I know this debate has been going on a for a couple years now, and even though I'm not from Great Britain it still rubs me the wrong way seeing these people try to implement their religious law on a country that is not theirs. It seems that if they had their way they would ban alcohol (and anything remotely fun), have women wear full veils, young girls wouldn't be allowed to go to school, homosexuals would be condemned and even killed, and everyone would be eventually be forced to convert to Islam, it just isn't right.
Can anyone who lives in Britain explain to us foreigners? There are some good muslims out there in the world, but these people are extremists, and extremists from any religious/political group need to piss off from life.

What?
See shit like this, you cannot immigrate to another country and refuse to acknowledge the laws there, it just doesn't work that way. And that's the problem with these extremists is that they only recognize Sharia Law, no matter where they are in the world.
I don't understand why people like this immigrate to other countries. Aren't the radicals right at home already in certain parts of the middle east?
Can anyone who lives in Britain explain to us foreigners?
Everyone is stupid and we're all fucked.
I would stand up to that stuff too, but it seems that all the people who are vocal about it are handling it in the most terrible way. (EDL and the other group in this video)
I mean, the way they chased that random family at the end... or handed out those papers with the cross on it? That's really not the right move.
I would have figured that murder should have put islamic extremism in the spotlight.
-snip-
These radical muslim groups are calling brits racists. Yet I believe they're the ones at fault for enforcing there laws while ignoring in multiple public cases british laws. They're only bringing it on themselves for being so ignorant.
I don't understand why people like this immigrate to other countries. Aren't the radicals right at home already in certain parts of the middle east?
Because they want Lebensraum, duh? :v:
They're both relatively ignorant in their own ways; however I agree with Britain's First in some respects. If you choose to immigrate to a country, you follow their law. You should be allowed to participate in their political system, sure, but not to enforce your own religious law on others.
Britain First just seems like a right-wing nationalist christian extremist group, or is that the E.D.L.
I hope every single one of these Islamist terrorists goes to jail
I hope every single one of these Islamist terrorists goes to jail
there usually is only two solutions to a islamic terrorist, or a terrorist of any kind.
A bullet, or their own suicide vest.

EDL is just a bunch of tits
the western worlds modern view of tolerance sadly will not work in the long run together with mass immigration. in the end, the west (europe) will lose because it has no organised set of ethics unlike muslim extremists, whom are willing to work together and even sacrifice their lives for their cause. eventually, shit is going to clash. it already is, as shown in the video, but its going to get even worse.

Even the Britain First guy says the EDL is just a bunch of idiots looking for blood who've just come from the pubs.
Its near the end of the video

Tolerance will work as long as you force immigrants to actually follow laws. If someone doesn't follow laws then they are a criminal and criminals don't get tolerance
Seems to me like both groups in the video are a bunch of idiots. It's like they actually believe GB is in danger of falling under Sharia Law.
I don't get it, if these people hate Britain and don't recognise British law, why don't they just leave?
They enjoy all the benefits of living in Britain e.g. Stable society, law enforcement, free healthcare, (relative) tolerance, good shelter and food. Yet they spend all this time talking about how shit and evil it is.

Because they want to turn it into muslim country, one of the guys in the interview said that people who werent muslim, in his eyes they were criminals, if you're looking for motivation there it is.

It is time.
But seriously these who come here and refuse to follow british law and pull the 'racist' card need to leave.

They're parasites, social virus. They enjoy all the stuff their new country gives them, while refusing to integrate. They're indoctrinated by their surrounding into believing that they possess this unique (and the only true one) identity they have to preserve by all means. And they can't possibly shut up about it in fear of being excommunicated from their communities. They don't actually want sharia law or other stuff because then they'll have to find yet another place to live. But they feel like if they quit talking and protesting about it, they'll lose their identity.
Oh and there're leaders, that's different. These have a clear agenda.
What disgusts me is that they are educated enough on the subject to know what to squeal when put under slightest pressure. Disagree with them, or show them at the door? RACISM! Sensitive theme for most of Europe, and they knowingly abuse it. Clearly shows how alien to them the concept of tolerance actually is. It's a joke to them, some alien mechanism of Western society they can shit on and abuse as means to their ends, without even bothering to properly understand it.
Sometimes I fear we're in the last years we're able to criticise Islam before the contrived notion it's racist to do so becomes common enough to get to a point where religious fascists will be able to do literally whatever they want without condemnation and we'll be able to do fuck all about it without getting shat on as a "racist" without a coherent explanation
HOWEVER, the first FGM trials in Britain are under way and we did manage to deport two hate preachers recently so in a way we are starting to put across to them that they won't get what they want especially considering they're inciting and inflicting harm

I'm an Indian guy who was raised abroad for most of my life before returning to India. It's very difficult being a second generation brown guy when your parents are immigrants.
You are never fully accepted in the society you had no choice in being a part of, you get borderline schizophrenic toeing the "cultural guidelines" your parents set up for you and trying to keep up with your peers in school. And then comes the jobs front, where shit like this comes out. This doesn't count the occasional racism incident which could leave an impact on your psyche.
All the while this happens, you begin to resent everything - your parents for bringing you to this alien place where you're almost an outcast (all while telling you how lucky you are to be where you are), finding love is difficult (either it's forbidden by your family circle or nobody really looks at you that way) . And then you find it difficult to get a job. And during all the times like these, where even your parents are facing similar hardships that you do, you can hear them saying what a nice place their homeland was, there weren't "these dirty gay people roaming the streets" or these "scantily clad women" walking around.
Some people leave and go to their parents homeland for a little while to see what it was like for them, find their roots. Some of them turn to religion, which is where they meet assholes like this who brainwash them into believing it's not their fault and it's everyone else's fault instead and turn them into terrible human beings.
I'm not saying I agree with or like any of these people - but what they're doing is something I've witnessed a lot of my own friends go down. I don't talk to them much anymore, but I'm pretty sure one of them started doing this shit out in Birmingham. I broke off all contact when he tried to convert me, despite me knowing him for almost 20 years of my life.
I just don't understand why the normal Muslims don't speak out against the extremist. Or do they? Or maybe they secretly agree but don't want to cause conflict?

because we can't be arsed
More multiculturalism will solve this problem.
In multiculturalism we trust.
All hail multiculturalism.
Extremists of either side are in the wrong. People can believe whatever they want as long as they're not harassing other people about that, and that goes for both sides.
I don't know, one side of the extremism murders people in the street with cleavers and wants to completely strip women of all rights. And ban alcohol, was is a personal right.
Of course they are both bad but really one is a tad less.. .tolerant
We need the Tea Party in the UK
