I love me some gears. I'm glad it's back.
Yup, that's Gears alright :v: But hey, I'll gladly play more of it. Don't fix what ain't broke.
Looking forward to it. Everything looks how I'd expect, and we get a little of the old crew as well.
An.. interesting way to do a prologue. Although I swear the first part looks like something clear out of the first three games on the 360, compared to the lighting and detail on the second part afterwards. And of course [sp]Kim[/sp] has the code.
I love the vibrant colors tbh. Very stark contrast to the grim, brown world.
now that's how you do a prologue.
Damn man, Hoffman's 87 years old now. Sam is roughly 59, and Cole is definitely over 60 years old. Baird too. Dom woulda been, 61. Marcus is 63 now. Anya's 61-62. Bernie's 85. If Kim lived he woulda been 65. This is one hell of a way to walk down memory lane with these characters. I also really like that they retroactively added female gears into the scenes since the books and comics said that they were always there, shit look at Bernie.
I would have preferred if the Aspho Fields battle was told through Dom's brother's perspective since he and Marcus were part of a larger battle.
One of the few games this year I've been genuinely excited for, pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition a few days ago. I'm glad to see that Gears has stayed pretty much the same since switching over to the Coalition, after seeing what direction 343 took with Halo. Also, here's hoping those characters we saw in the prologue are playable in MP. [sp] Young Dom and Hoffman look cool, Kim looks the same but I still want him [/sp]
