Just did this and I told my friends to look at my achievements and they're like "HOLY SHIT HOW DID YOU GET THAT?!?!?!?!!"
I tried this and it does in fact work.
Confirmed working suprisingly. Used an older save because I was convinced it didn't work and let my friend do it for shit and giggles. Was about to tell him he wasted 20 minutes travelling and dropping everything when the delayed achievement arrived.
it was great till he got an achievement.
Brb
I tough I was going to be amazed by some cool feature where you could transfer some items to Skyrim, meaning that they actually convert and shit. :v:
Still funny.
Those items don't really appear in Skyrim right? You just lose all your shit and get an achievement? It's a whole different engine, throwing items into that part of the map, not even in the same game - baloney.

No, they coded it so the items convert to the new items or similar items. It can't be perfect.
22 Profiles on his Xbox? What the fuck?

Your stupidity is approaching critical mass.

You're in this thread.
I can confirm this works also bringing Skyrim items to Oblivion
Wow I just tried this, once again Toddler and his of web lies spreading across the internet. This video is a phony, I bet Toddler hired this guy. I tried for eight hours getting my items across the border! You can't even bring your horse across!
Whats next? "You were never the Dragonborn" - Todd Howard.
"There are no swords" - Todd Howerd.
"There were never any dragons" - Tod Howard.
"There are no Nords" - Ted Howey.
"You were never in Skyrim to begin with" - Tad Howler.
No one knew this? Geez, I did this in Morrowwind to bring all my shit to Oblivion. Facepunch needs to get with the times.
I have several stashes of items all across the borders now.
alrite guyz juss did this now when do i finn my old itens????????????

Print out both maps.
Match the borders up.
Mark where you dropped your items in whatever game.
Go to that same marker in the game you wish to find your new items at.
Chest will be there marked "Mysterious Chest"
FUCK I BELIEVED YOU GUYS.

When you do this, Alduin spawns. You then have to fight him off with all your current equipment before you can equip your old stuff.

Ignore this guy, it's an obvious troll, as there's no way Alduin could spawn in Morrowind. But you're already pretty sharp to be reading my tutorial so you probably already guessed that.

Morrowind? This is in Arena. They retroactively programmed each item in Oblivion into Arena, with complex 3d models and everything.

Again, trolling. Bethesda has abandoned those projects.
Again, trolling. Bethesda has abandoned those projects.
Abandoned those projects because they were completed. You need to get your facts straight. Morrowind doesn't even exist. That's just the cover-up name for Daggerfall: One Nation Edition.

I stand by my words.
This worked so well that I'm gonna do it on all my backup saves just to be safe.
