Judges can die.
Man, Bill Nye is starting to show his age now, it'll suck knowing he'll pass away soon :c. He was the coolest part of being in school back then, watching Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Soon? He's 57; he's still got some time!
The fact they used an Oingo Boingo song makes it 10 more times awesome.

Jeez they went a bit harsh on him.
Bill you sly dog you. those judges can go gargle shit
He's only 57 and with that kind of mobility I'd say he's still got a good few years to go
Damn, 57? Couldn't tell, feels like he's older than that, and he somewhat does look like he is older. Oh well, really never saw him anywhere else after Bill Nye the Science Guy, and on the Universe of Energy in Epcot. So it feels like he's aged a lot.
Jeez they went a bit harsh on him.
A bit, but in fairness his dancing was very stiff. Bet you 10 to 1 that he's going to be the contestant that has the judges against him at the start and then they warm up to him in the end and say he 'captures the spirit of the show.'
I hope we get to see a bit of him before he gets voted off. He's a cool guy.
Bill's doing well for 57 must be all the science
If Bill Nye doesn't win then I will lose faith in the world.

Those judges are the worst judges on Tv. They complain about everything.
Yup, the usual reality TV bullshit.
Face it, he was kind of stiff. Just cause you like Bill doesn't mean he's perfect at everything immediately. With that said, he does have potential, will probably stay for a bit because his freakin Bill Nye, and is doing a lot better than most 57 year olds. Hopefully he stays. He'll probably get more comfortable with it over time. [editline]20th September 2013[/editline] Note: only watched his dance, so I have no idea how harshly the judges scored him.
Isn't it only the first or second episode. If it is, it is rare to see a score over 20 for the first couple dances.

Is it me, or is Bill Nye's voice a lot deeper and gravelly-sounding in comparison to his older videos?
Fuck Bill looks so old now
Bill Nye was scheduled to do a lecture at my college last week. He cancelled it because of this show :(
Oh my god, that has got to SUUUUUUCK
In a way it did, in a way I feel a little bit lucky. I wasn't able to get tickets in time, and I may be able to get tickets if he reschedules it
