Trademarks are not copyright. This myth of "need to act on it" needs to fucking die in a fire when people keep confusing patents with copyright, totalbiscuit in particular has proved himself an idiot for perpetuating this garbage.

The only thing you are at risk of losing is your trademark, which makes sense because two companies can hold the same trademark for different industries. They are nebulous enough and industry specific enough that your "trademark" is up for interpretation, thus the need for continuous defense. Copyright doesn't function like that legally, you own what you own and you can't lose your IP because you aren't suehappy. They are by extension sueing this 14 year old simply because for cheating, rather than all the other people who have gameplay videos up.
