[sp]dude on a moped[/sp]

It's like Grand Theft Auto.
This happened near my house but with a dirtbike
so much intense
I've been playing the Saints Row games this week (because I picked up the franchise pack while it was on sale) and this accurately describes my experiences thus far.
Police is serious business
I really don't understand the police mindset here. Why take every officer you have and put them on a pursuit of one guy on a moped. Unless he has committed an armed robbery and/or stole the moped, I don't see the point. What's more dangerous? This one guy on a moped or fifteen cop cars speeding down the road?

They kinda look like jackasses. I mean they have his tags, they already know where he lives they could just be waiting there for him.

But who knows what he could have done?!?!?!?!?
Honestly though what confuses me most is that the police cars weren't even going all that fast, and they were all going in a straight line. You'd think that it wouldn't be too hard for a police car to speed up past him and then immediately slow down or something
also if they have a whole squadron out there against him you'd think at least one cop would try to shoot his tires. Unless they didn't want him to crash and damage something...
what did this guy do?

1) he's a marine suffering from ptsd
2) he's a heavy alcoholic
3) he allegedly threatened his mother and girlfriend with a sledgehammer
4) he tried setting his house on fire

you've been watching too many movies. shooting tires is 100% not in the regulation and you should never attempt to do so.

Yeah, because having the guy on the moped smash his head open on the rear of a cruiser is a good way to get him to stop.
They are just following him until he stops, they're not going to try a pit maneuver on a two wheel vehicle.
Idiot
Speeding through a construction zone doubles fines
What is this? Blues brothers?!
moped moproblems

You can hear how almost every cop stops/slows at the red light before punching it.
11 cop cars god damn.
The man has 4 stars, best find a bribe.

Small hick-town with not much to do, for neither inhabitants nor police?

If they can afford to have at least 11 cops out on patrol at once, it's not that small of a town. But yeah, trust me I know well from home.

Now that I think about it, next time I wanna rob a bank, I'll just have a friend get in a high speed chase with cops.
They'll be too bogged down chasing a fucking moped to stop me from robbing every bank!

Exactly. Brilliance in action. Like I was saying above, if the town is small enough, a lot of people know exactly how many cops there are. In Arab there would be four on at any given time. If you've seen all four while you're out already, you know you're in the clear to speed. :v:
Look guys, I've been posting on the internet a long time so I'm pretty sure I'm qualified to comment on how the police should carry out a situation I have no knowledge of okay?

ok
So here's how they shoulda done it.
Why have 23 cop cars when you can have one helicopter? Get on that guy, shoot the tires, call in K-9, dogs have dinner, call it a night.

Those engines revving its like porn for my ears.
For a guy on a Moped to have that much heat he must have done something serious.
