it hurts
this is when you fuck up so bad you're so defeated and just say "yep close enough"
I don't hear a difference.
Yep, literally sounds the same. Then again I think Metallica is overrated so I'm biased I guess.
Good lord
Was the bass boosted for this? Because holy shit that's a meaty bass. I like it.
Yep, literally sounds the same. Then again I think Metallica is overrated so I'm biased I guess.
i guess James Hetfield has a reputation as one of the most precise rhythm guitarists ever for nothing eh
He's not a real monster until we get St. Anger with everything off tempo.
Hard Wired off tempo would be something else.
He's not a real monster until we get St. Anger with everything off tempo.
Isn't that already the case with St. Anger ?
Isn't that already the case with St. Anger ?
No, but that is the case when you see Metallica live. It's damn embarrassing to see Lars try to keep tempo live.
Metallica has my respect from the stand point of the tunes they wrote. The problem with them begins when you look at how the music industry changed, and then their lack of leadership in the new era and their lack of willingness to even admit that the industry was inevitably changing. They got all up in arms over it and decided to sue instead of take the matter into their own hands and thrive off the new market like thousands of musicians do today. Kinda killed the magic for me.
No, but that is the case when you see Metallica live. It's damn embarrassing to see Lars try to keep tempo live.
Metallica live is a joke nowadays. They sound like a Southern rock band now. Lars is a pissant. Seems to think that he's the most important part of the band even though he hasn't been a good drummer since the dark ages.

When I saw them live they were pretty hype, but I notice they play at a slightly faster tempo than the original song for some reason.
This channel is run by a monster
So, how it sounds when mere mortals try to sing it?
Metallica if every band member was Lars Ulrich :v:
This channel is run by a monster
This is even worse than the OP's video [editline]22nd September 2016[/editline]

Oh man, I love Ride the Lightning!
When I saw them live they were pretty hype, but I notice they play at a slightly faster tempo than the original song for some reason.
As far as I know, Metallica have always played their songs faster live. My favorite rendition of Creeping Death (my favorite Metallica song), is from their Seattle 1989 live performance.
what are you guys on about, obviously they're playing in 104/.05 rythm
