The legend comes alive
God is real.
I blame global warming.
For anyone who doesn't know, Club Penguin is shutting down soon to make way for some new cross-platform version of it.
Our generation's Moon Landing.
Holy fuck, after all these years man. I played this when it was new, the kids that did this probably aren't even impressed at this.
I blame global warming.
It was the penguins partying all along..
As someone who never played club penguin. explain?
As someone who never played club penguin. explain?
iirc there was a really old fake video on youtube with heaps of penguins on top of the ice-burg jack-hammering it down. Once the ice-burg tipped, it displayed a message something along the lines of "You've tipped the ice-burg". Since then there's been heaps of videos "How to tip the ice-burg [current year]"
I love the amount of people that swarm the "FREE" shit
It's the Boyhood of MMORPGs aimed primarily at children
That Rumor brings me back, Glad they made it true.
I remember making a account every 4 months to try it out and quit after being on it for 3 days. It still is a part of my youth though :v:
BACK IN MY DAY I WAS A CLUB PENGUIN SECRET AGENT
For anyone who doesn't know, Club Penguin is shutting down soon to make way for some new cross-platform version of it.
The new version is mobile only, not cross-platform.
this is the absolute epitome of throwbacks i used to waste so much time on this game, those spy missions really stand out in my memory, especially that one when you get stranded in the forest and have to find supplies to make a campfire, that shit was the OG survival game [editline]1st February 2017[/editline] like damn back in primary school (or elementary or whatever yall yanks call it) half the damn class played this, we formed our own lil 'army' and went to war with the more prominent ones, straight shootin em up at the snow forts [editline]1st February 2017[/editline] judging by the vid the game doesn't even look different, mad nostalgia
I wish it became popular here,I was the only kid in my entire school who played it. Wasted all my public school years just playing Club Penguin,it was damn worth it though. It also improved my english skills,so I have to thank Club Penguin for that.
club penguin private server, anyone?
BACK IN MY DAY I WAS A CLUB PENGUIN SECRET AGENT
dude that shit was the bees knees, I felt so fucking cool.
This video really warmed my heart for some reason.
Oh fuck I actually felt my hearth twinge after reading that plaque. Club Penguin was the shit in my fourth grade and partly responsible for me befriending multiple kids in my school. Lotta good memories in that game. [sp]and now it's gone like everything else[/sp]
yo those are some pretty rad beats for a tipped iceberg
I'm more of a coke music guy but the story about the iceberg is cool.
Yeah fuck that polar bear guy
fucking spoilers dude
In seriousness though I enjoyed playing this when I was younger but it also fills me with a lot of cringe every time I remember things I had done on it :nope:
For anyone who doesn't know, Club Penguin is shutting down soon to make way for some new cross-platform version of it.
As much as I like to rag on it, it's really a shame. I played it when I was like 9, and it was plauged by membership bullshit but I still played the shit out of it. Wonder what's up with the people on that Club Penguin Forum I used to visit.
I was more of a Habbo guy but I spent a decent amount of time playing Penguin Chat/Club Penguin. I stopped playing around the time of the Disney buyout [sp]Anyone remember There? It was kinda like Second Life except it moved to a subscription-payment scheme[/sp]
I was a Coke Music and then later Habbo girl (Having accounts on multiple hotels was great, I loved the Canadian one, it was so quiet but everyone was friendly.) I tried club penguin but could never really get into it. I did try out IMVU for a little while but didn't really like it. Also played Runescape for a bit too. And Durrsly I can't say I've ever heard of There? I miss older MMOs because they held a special place in my childhood.
