Are those new player models? It's been awhile since i've played.
Doesn't really show off too much, kinda disappointed it wasn't the zipline crossbow from BF2, thumbnail got my hopes up.
Sorry but what happened, Earthquakes or Nuclear bombs? The single player was terrible. [editline]18th October 2012[/editline] Nevermind it says 'post-earthquake environments'.
Are those new player models? It's been awhile since i've played.
Those are indeed new character models, but there's no way of knowing if they'll be actual player models. I sure fucking hope so though, they look awesome.
Shit, just noticed that the crossbow will be an attachment, not an actual weapon. These kind of details that they put in the thumbnail but not the video itself, clever. :eng101:
Is there any way to get Premium for less than $50.

The playermodels just look like the regular playermodels but with the headgear gone. I have to say I didn't expect the russian support to be bald.
soo how many dlc has been released since bf3?
Are you sure? They could just be basing it off AR-15 crossbow uppers.
from the youtube preview pic it looks like a weird crossbow mechanism is attached at the end of the gun rather than a AR styled crossbow.
soo how many dlc has been released since bf3?
This is the fourth one.
And they're all nice and varied so far
We've got the large, the tiny and the HUGE so I'm hoping Aftermath maps will be a nice mix between close combat and medium range standoffs, kinda like Sharqi.
I like how the Russians changed the PLR.
People still play this shit?
What a load of shit.
People still play this shit?
yeah man you'd be surprise when a game is enjoyable that they still play it weird shit right!!
from the video i was kinda hoping there would be after-shocks from the earthquake IN GAME you're running around like a mad fuck shooting then suddenly an after-shock. map changes, paths are closed off new ones open up maybe a wall collapses opening up a second floor perfect for snipers or rubble destroys a narrow path forcing you to make another way or something. would have been AWESOME
After playing the map too much it'd start to feel way too stale and repetitive.
Well it wouldn't have had to been every time you play the map, maybe there was a chance it would happen, and i was thinking more than just those two changes i said it doesn't really matter though because it's not in the DLC so why i'm defending my idea... i dunno
I was more hoping that while you're fighting enemies in a building and an aftershock occurs. You both realize that the building is collapsing and need to jump out. Battlefield 3 really had a lack of vertical buildings to access.
I just read this about Aftermath:
It also adds Scavenger mode, described as "an objective-based Conquest mode where lost soldiers armed only with a pistol must search the environment to find more powerful weapons and increasing their chance for survival."
That sounds fucking amazing.
I just read this about Aftermath: That sounds fucking amazing.
no it sounds like people camping weapon spawns a la quake. also why is he holding a gun by the magazine in the thumbnail :3
also why is he holding a gun by the magazine in the thumbnail :3
lots of people do now feels more comfortable, quicker to change magazine. lots of reasons sort of acts like a foregrip as well.

I love how every modern shooter throws in an arbitrary crossbow that is almost always fundamentally broken gameplay wise.
The maps in france have a few vertical buildings to access though.
Sorry, I meant collapsible vertical buildings.
lots of people do now feels more comfortable, quicker to change magazine. lots of reasons sort of acts like a foregrip as well.
if you're talking about people holding AR15s by the front of the mag well that's different, because it's actually still holding onto the gun, not the magazine itself holding onto the magazine itself can cause jams. there's a reason for dedicated fore grips existing... and it's not magpul's aggressive marketing
Is there any way to get Premium for less than $50.
You can check out G2Play, got it there for 24% off.
I wonder if some of those player models will suddenly become African American 2 days from release. [editline]18th October 2012[/editline] I don't mean to sound like "that guy", but kevlar helmets are extremely light and I think that they would be more prone to wearing them after an earthquake. Considering the amount of debris and how you wouldn't want a chunk of a falling building to fall on your noggin.
