holy shit, what a scummy developer... Thank god we have steam refunds now.
I bought this game and I got my money back and bit extra via selling the cards.
The developer posted this today:
This announcement is ment to clarify the case of the "Missing Levels" Although it seems that it doesn´t even matter what i say, here is still my announcement: I have now rolled back the game and i will be testing the levels. I´m not going to defense myself, since that will not help. I made an mistake with builds, and i am truly sorry about that. Nothing more i can do about this. I tried to be friendly and kind for you all. I do understand that you feel betrayed, and you are angry. I have tried to fix it, but all the damage has been already done. I am not a scammer. All i wanted is to create a new kind of gaming experience for all of you. Also: No need to give me the imgur link, i have seen it few hundred times already.
I don't know, I think that too many people are judging him too soon. Everyone knows about Steam refund, so why would he even try to scam?
This would actually be a funny concept if the game was free. Making people buy this is just fucking garbage.

Since you can refund any Steam game within 2 hours anyway and I can't see anyone playing the game in its current state for more than two hours, what's the problem? I mean, the game looks pretty shit as of now but he's asking €4.99 and everyone has the possibility to get a refund. I don't see what the big deal is, if he is indeed going to fix the game.

[editline]5th August 2015[/editline] He gets bit money from the game bought and afterwards from the trading card traffic through steam market, clever.
Wait. You can do that?! How often can you get a refund? Could this be exploited?
Cards won't drop after playing the game 3 hours and at that point the refund time has ended, I just bought the game for 0,14€ and made 0,16€.
I much prefer this style of sterling.
Telling people there are clues in the trading cards so that they keep the game beyond the refund period, I can't tell if that's evil or genius. Or both.

Is it just me or are those stairs ripped from dota 2? They are strikingly similar. Several of the maps sections are eerily familiar in terms of overall layout as well.

In the case of a game that's literally impossible to complete and which lies about its contents, you could ask for a refund six hours into it and they're still very likely to hand you one.

Where they take assets available to download, throw them into an engine (Or in this case... just... used what's already completely made)... and then try and sell it Steam Refunds are going to clamp that shit down and end it, so hooray. Sterling has covered almost all of them, I know TB covered a couple also
Art.
This never would have happened if Valve would do something about greenlight quality control.
I'm surprised Jim didn't mention that this is an asset flip. Then again, after all of the shit he's had to deal with regarding UnitZ, I think he just wants to avoid ever saying those words again.

I would rather push out nothing at all than an unsatisfactory product. I only hope the dev lost money doing this.
This is fucking genius
