I'm no fan of rap music, but I found the lyrics very touching and I think they reflect a point in everyone's life where we fall down and need to pick ourselves up.
[/facepalm] At least get the song name right.
I generally don't like Eminem but I seem to enjoy listening to this song. [editline]07:58PM[/editline] OP, do you realise you just said you find the lyrics of a song in which he says, "To pull his dick from the dirt and fuck the universe", touching.
haha faren, what about the rest of the lryics? I'm sure you could find a song with all bullshit and one line of truth in it.
Truth be told I was only being a smartass and I don't actually pay attention to the lyrics of this song. I usually don't listen to songs for their message, anyway. I doubt I'd listen to what I do (folk/symphonic/melodic metal) if I did.
least favorite em song.
Is it just me or does his face look strange?
He looks strange.
Yeah he lost some muscles and his face looks kinda strange without the bleached hair
Yeah he lost some muscles and his face looks kinda strange without the bleached hair
Yeah I think that's it.
what the fuck he looks totally different with his hair like that. some wierd christopher eccleston doppleganger.
It's alright. I guess I'd have it on my Ipod.
Wait, Eminem is superman?
Black hair fits him better to be honest, makes him look older.
amazing song and lyrics. too bad 80% of facepunch only listen to melodic black death metal. also he looks much better with black hair, that sexy mofo
Whilst the song itself in terms of composition, instruments and all that jazz isn't anything too impressive (but it's good and works well(and I can't go into details of those aspects as I know jack shit about it)) it has to be one of the very few songs where the lyrics really are THE thing about the song. I usually don't care for shit what the lyrics are in songs as long as the way they sing it fits well with the song. It's a good note and message to his fans and general audience, it's not exactly the first time he's talked to them and talked about going clean, taking care of his daughter and all that, but now he has gone clean hasn't he? And it's nice to hear him slightly-trash talk his own album and all that. A good song on the classical subject of raising yourself up from the ground when things goes the wrong way for you, and just generally do what you want to do, not what others want you to do.

Eminem is and will be, the greatest white rapper.
