Last I saw you couldn'r easily connect to another region's server and the Canadian servers at least were looking pretty empty.
Also some rooms like Habbo Lido were either redesigned or drastically reduced in size. It's pretty shitty now.
I know a few years ago I was able to log into my old account no problem but I tried again a few weeks later and my credentials no longer worked. (???)

Do you guys remember that CokeMusic game from the same era? You could make your own music and get in game cash for getting upvotes. It shutdown a while ago but I found a private server for it that started about a few months ago. Hardly has anything to it right now but it's still bringing back memories.

Wanna bet it won't? I had my 2006 account got banned in 2007, now 10 years later I tried to log in and what does it say? Nothing. They removed the unban date.
