Another pure example of why all games need modding tools.
They've put a lot of work into this clearly. Plenty of new weapons too by the looks of it.
shit this made me forget how much i enjoy that song as well. I don't think i've heard it in years
Nevermind im a butt
Aren't some of the modders for this FP'ers, I clearly remember them posting here the last time this was showed off like a year ago.

Was in march actually, here's the thread.
I'll be honest the voice acting in the previous trailer was pretty terrible to the point of me losing interest but judging by the effort that seems to be going into this overall I think I could get over it.

I don't know if the dude worked on it but someone did post an older trailers here a while back and it got shat on iirc.
Oh shit, it's based on Portland, Oregon, which I live very close to. I hope it's good, I'd love to see how well they recreated it.

You kind of have to expect that with mods. They almost universally have terrible voice acting since they rely on community volunteers for voice work.
neat

Welp, there goes my interest.

I'm very interested in the setting and such, but yeah this might lose alot of steam once Fallout 4 comes out.

Yeah, I know. It always gets on my nerves though, especially when the quality varies so much, like in Project Brazil. Some of the voice actors were borderline professional, while some sounded like they were a 15 year old putting on a voice and putting that through a voice changer.
I kinda find the M4 Shermans extremely out of place.
The chances you would find one in working order with full armaments in that setting is just non-existent. The inner WW2 nut in me loves it, but still.
Also in other things that actually matter instead of that nitpick, looks cool but seems like by the time this is released it might be too late as interest will go away.

Yeah but to be fair the entire fallout universe is all out of whack as to what constitutes cutting edge military technology. According to Fallout 3/Op Anchorage, the G3 is the main service rifle of the US military, yet things like man-portable gattling lasers, power armour and vertibirds exist.

Not to mention that it's a future after all. They had those robots with plasmaguns and power armor, one would expect them to roll out something more sophisticated than a ww2 era tank.

Who said they found it all in working order? Maybe they had to spend a really long time getting it to work or something? In New Vegas, the Boomers take a B-29 bomber from the bottom of the lake, fix it up and manage to get it working. I imagine it's a lot easier to do all that with a tank.
Pretty sure you use a Sherman in Fallout tactics.

It would really help if it just wasn't plain jane M4 in the trailer. Alittle weathering on the model would be nice or some futuristic parts/add-ons.
And yah I thought about the B-29, but that took a whole cult of bomber lovers to bring that back. The M4 Sherman being the NCR's main battle tank it seems like is silly.
Now if this wasn't coming out after Fallout 4 I'd be interested in it...

How does this make sense? I still tried a few of the really big overhaul mods for Oblivion even after Skyrim came out.

FO4 will most likely will satisfy the "new fallout experience" that people want, and this mod will sadly be a lot less popular than it should.
Honestly it'll probably get ported over to FO4 anyway.

And Nehrim will be ported to Skyrim soon too huh :v:
I wonder how do people even gather such a big team for something non-profit. Great work!

Yeah, because people don't love free stuff or have inferior hardware.
