oh wow i remember this mod. this was super fun i didn't realize it was still being worked on
holy living fuck.
Can someone mod this mod to replace all dialogue from the four star abridged series?
boner achieved
This looks fun as fuck to play
They really had to pump up the GoldSrc engine to get something like dynamic light into it.
WOAH
Its looks better than some dbz games on the consoles.
Goldsource has never looked better.
This is fucking amazing, and here I thought it was abandoned and dead.
Hooollllllly fuck I remember playing the SHIT out of EVM and ESF. Holy shit I cannot wait, gonna download the minute it's released.

But why did they keep it on GoldSrc
But why did they keep it on GoldSrc
Apparently because it's far more flexible and there's way more they can do with it. I don't know much about modding or the differences between GoldSrc and Source, but that's what I've heard.
Is this gonna end up like Cry of Fear were all the new visual features all felt hacked in and the whole game barely even worked and ran like absolute shit?
Is this gonna end up like Cry of Fear were all the new visual features all felt hacked in and the whole game barely even worked and ran like absolute shit?
Isn't that because they were most likely "hacked in"? It's not like the engine natively supported the stuff they did. As for performance, I had no issues there.

the animations are kinda stiff and the mouths need to move but other than that, it's looking amazing
Damn, that's really incredible for GoldSRC. I remember playing ESF: ECX so many years ago... what I saw back then doesn't even compare to some of these newer videos. I'm even more amazed that they're still developing after all these years.
They have done what i would have assumed to be impossible on the GoldSRC engine.
the animations are kinda stiff and the mouths need to move but other than that, it's looking amazing
Well, Goku's mouth moved for the Kamehameha bit. All the talking and banter otherwise in the trailer was just them taking clips from the show and imposing it over the footage, rather than the characters actually saying them in-game.
I re-downloaded this and played it last month actually! Not many people play, but it would be cool to see them release a new edition soon!
I re-downloaded this and played it last month actually! Not many people play, but it would be cool to see them release a new edition soon!
The last released version was 2004. :D
Holy shit, I forgot all about ESF. This is some freaking impressive goldsrc work, the game is beautiful.
Wow the combat definitely looks a lot better. I remember back when it was literally just right clicking to shoot people in the aimed direction, resulting in stunlocking people into walls or floors. Then it became weird and had some DDR combo system. :v:
