Powerlifting form; it decrease the range of motion. Many federations only require your butt on the bench.
It's okay to arch your back when benching, that's a perfectly legal form iirc.

and shoulders obvs. but pretty much if your ass and your shoulders are touching and the weight doesn't drop on the way up (IE repping it , pause and then have it lower an inch and finish the rep) it counts. so even though she's contorting her body like a mofo and doing a decline bench it still counts
Also, form or no form, you can't deny that she's moving 240 freaking pounds regardless.
I'd imagine that form uses more of your back muscles. But holy fuck bending that much can't be good for her back. I suppose if she does it absolutely perfect its fine but jesus that can't be safe.

Not only is bending like that safe, it can be very good for you. Back bridges are one of the best exercises you can use for building back strength you can do, especially if you choose to use body-weight training. It looks uncomfortable but it makes you very strong, healthy, and less prone to back injury when done right.

having 240lbs sitting on you when you're in that position is not good for you.
callisthenics wise it is, as soon as you start adding weight it's not
I believe you're right but I think most of the weight is on her shoulders with less emphasis on the back.
[editline]21st March 2013[/editline]
I don't actually really know.
One day she'll put the weights back and notice she can't return her body back to a normal position.

and lots of pressure on their soft joints. You internet doctor always laugh at people who say it's bad for young kids to lift heavy but every single person (that i know) that was lifting heaving when they were in their teens is fuckin short.

strong broscience, lifting weights at a young age doesn't do shit to stunt your growth in terms of height. your height is determined by genetics. doesn't matter if you're benching 200lbs at 16 or not, if your genetics say you're going to be above 6' you're going to be above 6' unless you eat like shit or break your bones or something. get out

.. Is that fucking Bob Saget congratulating her at 2:22?
Do a proper rep for fuck's sake. Lay down properly and let it go all the way to your chest to just barely touch it, then push it up and on the holding things.
I was kind of disappointed but eh, technically she still didn't do anything wrong.
