I went in completely blind for this first run through the offices. I've wanted to play this game for a while (Since I ended the Rayman LP), but decided to wait for the Amnesia one to be done before going on a new adventure. Already have 2 achievements, one was the no jumping one, and the Door 430, which had a neat adventure all on it's own.
Well, this is my third LP series I've done (And posted here). How am I doing? Feedback would be lovely.

This is a game that you just shouldn't do an LP on. It spoils it for everyone who watches and hasn't played yet, making it completely pointless for them to play it themselves.
I can see your point, but what about those that have already played it and want to see how other's experiences went? Or those that aren't able to play it and want to see how the game is?
I held out for months not looking at videos of the game to prevent spoilers for myself, I don't see the difficulty of ignoring the video for those that want to play it blind.
Probably your weakest videos yet, but that's ok. I at least know this won't end up like some of the other let's play threads

The last two threads I did went over decently, which was the reason I continued. Not entirely sure where else to post though. I already chat around Reddit, and SA isn't on my list of places to go.

Yeah, Gran was the main coder I think. There's even a Facepunch tribute (All textures replaced with a Pro-Facepunch logo) that i was going to include in one of the videos.

Out of the 19 people that donated a box to me, how many actually watched the video?
There's only 10 views (I'm not a large channel, only 27 subs), and 3 of them were from before I posted here.

right now in this section there are a couple huge threads about lets players (game grumps, two best friends, rooster teeth and brutalmoose (also others))
didn't watch this video very far in but it's probably being dumbed because of facecam & the fact stanley parable isn't a good game for a let's play, there's also the fact that a lot of new users join to just post their shitty lp videos so it's a knee-jerk reaction to dumb them

On topic, a LP of the Stanley parable is not a really good idea. The entire game is about the choices the player makes while playing it. Watching someone else make the choices without doing it yourself ruins the entire experience. It doesn't have anything to do with the mythical facepunch hive mind of hatred, it's just that this is a terrible game to do a LP of.
That being said, it's a fantastic game in general and everyone should go buy/play it.
To be honest whenever i watch a lets play its usually for the person playing, i want to see how they react. I dont see why you cant make a lets play of the Stanley Parable, since there's alot of fun stuff the player can react to. Even if you've already finished the game, it can still be fun to see how others react to the stuff the game throws at you.

usually because they don't do anything innovate or aren't very personable, the lp "market" is absolutely saturated with videos, you have to have something special to stand out

there is a game grumps thread, a two best friends thread and a Rooster Teeth thread which most of it is their LPs. I also see Hamster post his LPs here and there and people seem to like them (they only facecam LPer that is good).

Well, I'm not posting any more of the videos here, as voted on. Perhaps on a different series? I was planning on Dark Souls + aggression mod NG+ (More of a How-to play) once Stanley Parable was over.
