Came in expecting someone to microwave transformers toys.
Its not the transformer thats deadly here, its the capacitor, misleading title. While the MOTs are deadly, hes only using it to charge up a large capacitor.
Ayyy, we popped et!
He reminds me of Hammond, but pissed off constantly
Those dots on the camera after the budweiser explosion freaked me out because I just bought a new pixel perfect Korean IPS monitor :v:
I'd pay good money to see this kind of stuff filmed with a top-end high-speed camera.
I wonder if it would be possible to hook a system like this up to a drone which splits into two drones, hooks up to say a plane or such, and then cause a destruction to a vital component of an aircraft.
I love these stereotypical average looking British guys who are absolute geniuses when it comes to engineering, electronics and stuff.
Jay Owen would be proud of the ending.
I love this guy's videos. The 3 purple dots had me thinking I had some broken pixels.

Nah, he's done videos with some high powered lasers, thats what most likely messed up his computer.
Dude's got burn marks all over his carpet aha
Can anyone explain how does it create such physical force? I can understand the potato, maybe it instantly boiled water inside and it blew to pieces, but the cup warmer?
Ok, to my memory there are 2 ways:
Massive amounts of power heat up the air around it causing thermal expansion of the air, this is usually a shockwave.
The second force from the electric force flowing through the wires, causing a magnetic force to be created, this is the one utilized for can crushers and so on.
the thing is, this dissapates massive amounts of energy in a short amount of time, allowing it to in many cases vaporise small peices of wire.
He reminds me of the indian electric man, but with higher voltages and less electric shocks.
This channel would be the best one on youtube if the production value was higher.

I prefer his way over many streamlined youtube channels with the usual "like and subscribe" at the end
This is so strange to watch.
He talks and looks somewhat like a stereotypical chav, but he's got intelligent interests.
Love him though, he's awesome.
He's like the modern day nikola tesla

Nah he did some "tests" on the camera and ended up damaging the light sensor, he smashed it apart later on and shows you.

While the raw nature of his channel is nice to see, he'd benefit from an editor, or someone handling the camera. Often he leaves in the footage of him turning on the camera or moving it to line up a shot, and then him walking into shot.
Most of his videos could be 30% shorter with just conventional editing.
He does more editing now, most of his older videos (such as this one) didn't have a whole lot of editing done because I remember him mentioning that he couldn't get the video files into a movie editor or anything or something to that effect.
Really I like the lack of it all in general, I'm mildly sick of watching things on YouTube produced more "professionally" with edits and jump cuts cutting out mildly unnecessary bits. I really think having a minimal amount of editing in his videos really fits what he does.
But maybe I'm just weird.
Is he drunk or just has a funny way of talking?

It's a shame that that is the common first thought when people hear the term "editing" for youtube videos. I don't blame you though.

Both.

High powered laser is putting it mildly. You could SEE that shit from across the city.

Christ, point that at a passenger plane and blind everyone inside.
Good thing it's in the hands of a responsible man.
hahahaha

Pretty certain he's kind of drunk in all of his videos

He's hitting the Ballmer peak of engineering capability though.
