This game seems cool, but for some reason I cannot bring myself to want to get it. I also kind of feel like they should have added one more so each faction gets a new warrior.
What faction is the Centurion supposed to represent? I thought For honor was Samurais, Vikings, and Knights.

In the lore stated by the campaign, the Knights faction originally evolved from/split off from the Romans/centurion faction. Said centurions eventually disappeared for unstated reasons, but the main villain claims that they still exist and that she's met them in person.
So the Centurion is a Knight by association.

Is the game better with controllers?
Aren't Shinobi and ninjas generally made up of farm folk? That's why all their weapons resemble farm equipment right?

Pretty sure their weapons resemble farm equipment is to blend in. A sword causes more suspicion than a hoe.

It's not a very good game.
Did they ever fix the connection problems?
Because this game has always looked really really good to me.
Connection issues almost don't happen to me anymore. You will get to a point where turtling and refusing to attack first becomes common followed by spam abilities. I still enjoy playing though as these tactics start to work against the people doing it once your used to it and they stop. It still works best overall to fight relatively aggressively with feints and jabs. At least it seems this way now amongst the higher rep crowd.
The game could be a lot better though I'm waiting on that Mordhau game to come out for some decent melee combat.

I'm not digging the entire look of the centurion. Other than the Gladius, there's nothing that really looks like a Roman soldier.

I wouldn't bother playing without a controller. It makes a huge difference.

I recommend rebinding kb/m a little so that target lock isn't a toggle (I use shift, and moved sprint toggle to ctrl)

I feel like full out teleporting as it appears here is way too far. Yeah. Scantily clad warriors isn't realistic but full out teleporting isn't at all fitting imo.

Personally I think the gamepad feels better, but there are objective advantages to playing with a KB and mouse that are hard to ignore once you get good.
I'm surprised the Centurion doesn't have a shield and isn't a shield based character. I could have sworn there was some early art where he had a shield. They could almost rename him to a gladiator or something because that's where a lot of his style seems to be coming from. He does look pretty cool though, and I'm curious how he will fit into the meta.
